A small gem in the heart of Lecce, distinctive with its vaulted ceilings and stone walls, meticulously crafted decor, and authentic flavors. The meat is also delicious. I recommend booking to be sure, as the place isn't large.

Three of us had lunch at this restaurant based on a recommendation from locals.
We can say we had a great time. The location is small but charming.
The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Fresh pasta dishes typical of the Salento tradition.
The portions were adequate.
The quality food was further enhanced by the skill of the chef, who evoked emotions in me that I had forgotten.
Prices were average.
I recommend it.

I had already been to eat at this nice little place in the historic center of my city and I gladly returned with that desire for "sagne ncannulate" and typical Lecce delicacies. I live in Brescia but when I come to Lecce I make a quick visit to Nonna Tetti if possible.
I want to give my warmest compliments for the impeccable service. Note: only one girl serving at the tables who masterfully managed and without making anyone wait about 8 tables on the ground floor and above, kind, professional, tidy and organized with good English. My compliments go above all to her, I hope they pay her enough I would give her 100 euros per service 😘

Excellent food, but VERY slow service. Only two waiters total for the ground floor and upstairs. Maybe they were short of staff the night we went. More troubling, a waiter dropped a plate on the stairs, bits of porcelain rained down on me since I was sitting with my back to the steps on the ground floor. Apart from a quick “sorry” as they went to clean up the mess, no real apology. No one checked to see if I was OK, or to offer me a new water glass (the original one now with bits of plate in it).
We got up and waited to pay at the bar. Again, no apology, just handed me my bill. I thought they might at least offer a limoncello to make up for dropping pieces of plate on my head.
