Super recommended. All very good indeed. Special mention for the passatelli asciutti with cheese fondue and black truffle. Ragù like at home (in a positive way). HUGE Bolognese cutlet, I recommend splitting it if you also order something else. Even though the place was full, we had dinner in an hour (starter, first course and second course). Fair prices. I repeat, I highly recommend it.

Really nice place and we ate well. The waiter was quick and attentive. The only thing is little space on the table, perhaps for the centrepiece... the candle is beautiful but bulky or perhaps for the appetizer served on large plates. For the rest the bill is a little high... €6 for a bitter.
However 2 starters, 2 first courses, 2 desserts + a bottle of wine €100 round

Nonna Rosa was the first trattoria I tried way back in 2016 when I moved to Bologna!
It was my first tagliatella and my first Bolognese cutlet.
It is no coincidence, therefore, that I consider this place my point of reference in the city even today that I now live far from my beloved Bologna.
The homemade pasta here is sublime, the gramigna is delicious thanks also to the tasty seasoning, the tagliatelle are nice and rough as tradition dictates, the tortellini have a sublime filling and the dry passatelli are always cooked to perfection.
Their Bolognese cutlet is also famous, among the best in the city and also among the largest. To say it's delicious is to belittle it.
I have always found every dish on the menu excellent, from starters to desserts, even years later and after months of not returning to Bologna, the quality has remained high.
The service is fast and very kind.
The place is beautiful to look at, especially the main room.
I recommend booking well in advance because, rightly, it is a very popular place!

Everything was ok, we ate in the secondary room but that was also beautiful, the only thing was that in the end they invited us to leave the table a little suddenly... Presenting the bill without asking first if anything was missing. Very good food

Soggiornato a Bologna 2 giorni, cenato in questa trattoria 2 giorni... D'altra parte, se ti trovi bene perchè cambiare? Ottime pietanze bolognesi e non (vitello tonnato), pronto e simpatico il servizio, onesto il conto. Quindi Bravi così! la prossima volta che ripassiamo da Bologna ci torneremo

Man hører altid, at det bedste mad i Italien bliver serveret hjemme i de private hjem, men det er jeg faktisk ikke sikker på i dette tilfælde. Nonna Rosa (eller bedstemor Rosa) inviterer gerne på velsmagende, hjemmelavet mad på hendes ualmindeligt hyggelige Trattoria, som ligger midt i et boligkvarter uden for den slagne turistrute.
Vi havde ikke reserveret bord denne søndag aften - hvor travlt kan der lige være en søndag aften??? Pænt travlt! Så vi var heldige at få et bord udenfor i gården, som bestemt er hyggelig, men indenfor er der en nærmest magisk og eventyrlig stemning.
Jeg tænker maden er lige god, uanset hvor man sidder, jeg kunne i hvert fald høre englene synge, da jeg satte tænderne i den friterede polenta med ostemousse og de hjemmelavede ravioli med spinat og ricotta indeni og rigelig, sprød bacon og grønne asparges udover.
Til hovedret havde vi bestilt Bolognese Cotoletta med sort trøffel og lidt tilbehør, men vi var helt færdige, så vi fik lov til at få “resten” (det meste) med hjem, da det var alt for godt til skraldespanden.
Bedstemors “børnebørn” (servicepersonalet) var også ualmindeligt søde, behagelige og dygtige. Vi fik både tips til oplevelser, anbefalinger til tilbehør og drikkevarer og en lille snak om vind og vejr.
Nonna Rosa laver sublim mad, hygger om sine gæster og har en dejlig familie.
