We booked this as part of an Opera experience and the food was so amazing that we went back the next night before leaving Florence. Great Ambiente, amazing food and the house Chianti is the best red wine we had for years. Fantastic service from a very welcome and wonderful team, excellent food and we can’t recommend it highly enough. Amazing find away from overcrowded touristy areas. A must visit when in the city!!!

A lovely, unusual and atmospheric venue in a historic building, once part of a convent. Inside, the decor is unusual for a trattoria, with antique tables and chairs. The background music is also very pleasant, unobtrusive and conducive to conversation. Quality food and service, with a selection of meat and fish.

Tucked away in the corner of Piazza del Carmine is the very cosy Trattoria Napoleone. This spot came recommended by our hotel Della Calza and it was a real treat.
We were greeted with a warm vegetable soup before having the Napoleone’s welcome dish as an appetiser and a secondi each. The food was incredible.
A highlight for us was the table we got, an intimate setting right by the fire!

Family evening, restaurant recommended by the hotel...a real surprise.
A very characteristic historical-themed location.
Excellent food, especially the truffle carbonara (outstanding) and the truly delicious Florentine fillet steak. Wide selection of wines.
Super friendly staff, and to top it all off, I went out with my "lovestruck" son. Ha ha ha...lovely evening, see you next time.

A beautiful restaurant with original decor, small dining rooms, and a romantic atmosphere with waitresses in Renaissance costumes. A complimentary soup was served, along with delicious main courses and lovely desserts.
I highly recommend it.

It's not a terrible place, but we weren't blown away either; it was definitely an average spot. It's a quiet place. The pesto pasta was absolutely delicious, but the mushrooms in the mushroom pizza and pasta were too heavy, be careful. The desserts were average.

A very characteristic restaurant that I had the pleasure of visiting for dinner. The food was excellent, a Florentine steak that melted in your mouth and a clam dish worthy of a seafood restaurant, not to mention the sublime desserts, a millefeuille that I will dream about until my next stay in Florence. Excellent wines, extremely kind staff. What can I say, a dream location with an equally delicious menu.

A unique experience.
We booked at the last minute and, to our surprise, they had room for four people available. The venue is very unique and meticulously designed, and the staff (dressed in matching theme) is very courteous and knowledgeable. The food left us speechless; the truffle gnocchi were incredibly creamy, not to mention the fillet steak. We'll definitely be back.
