The food and the folks here are terrific! We enjoyed a meal before a concert and dessert after. Great food, wine, and friendly staff!

A restaurant with excellent cuisine. I have no complaints about any of the dishes I tried; I particularly enjoyed them. The location is decorated in a unique style, reminding me of a mountain chalet or a Canadian cabin. The service was a bit of a letdown; it was fast but a bit lazy.

My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and had a great time. The sea bass in particular was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was excellent and the interior is very tasteful. Highly recommended.

Arriving without a reservation was no problem for the staff. We sat inside in this old world restaurant that bursts with character but which is surpassed by the food and service we received. I ordered the following alla marengo and was so pleased I did. My family also made compliments on their meals so happy diners all round.

A lovely restaurant, completely themed around the old days. The food was delicious, the wine a bit pricey but very good. Friendly staff.

This restaurant is tucked away in a quiet corner of Piazza del Carmine. There are tables available outside but for quieter, more private or intimate occasions there are numerous spaces available inside. We had been here several years before but again, we were not disappointed on this occasion. Our young waiter (Luca?) was brilliant. He was prompt but allowed plenty of time between courses which was perfect. The food is delicious. We had ham and burrata starter, pasta with wild boar sauce and then the rabbit cacciatore which was simply exceptional. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

30/09/2025: Wide choice of super yummy and filling sandwiches Schiacciata with porchetta was heaven! Do yourself a favour and go there instead queuing for the place next door 😉

08/10/2025: Excellent Tuscan cuisine, with amazing crostini and tortelli!! We didn't order pizza, but according to the people at our table next to us, that was delicious too!! Highly recommended.
