Trattoria Montonero In Vercelli

Very interesting museum. I had to queue quite a bit to see the Artemisia Gentileschi exhibition. Those who love ancient art will appreciate the furnishings and paintings.

Amazing place, I occasionally go there on my motorbike with a friend. It's wonderful to have a peaceful lunch in this magnificent relaxing place! We'll be back many more times! ✌🏼

Happened by chance, positive experience, very good food and excellent service

Excellent trattoria serving typical dishes such as the excellent panissa and other specialities. Impeccable service and pleasant atmosphere.

A more unique than rare restaurant. A certainty, always!

To come here you have to follow the directions from the state road and in two minutes you find yourself in this beautiful restaurant inside this small village with I presume also the castle. The place is very well cared for in its furnishings and details, we stop for a working lunch. At the right price you can eat well, with a choice between two first courses and two second courses, I suppose there are also off-menu à la carte options but frankly I didn't ask. We take the Vercellese panissa, very good and the tasty tagliolini with parmesan, good. For the second course, a nice creamy tomino cheese melted inside with some broad beans, a nice quick and light dish. Clearly hilly coffee with that strong citrus flavor, not much to my taste but certainly not bad, made with capsule machines, best solution for catering. Just the right light wine, and you are served quickly and well, because in any case it is a very crowded place, a sign of quality, also because you have to come here on purpose, there is only one single asphalted road, plus the Via Francigena traveled on foot by many pilgrims. Nice discovery, I will return soon in the evening to try it too the à la carte menu. Well done

Trattoria from times gone by among the Vercelli rice fields. Excellent stopping point along the Via Francigena.

Pranzo feriale del “lavoratore” all’insegna del fagiolo con “panissa” e “fagiolata con salamino” in occasione del Materdi Grasso. Con 15€ grande piacere!

Mi spiace, forse avevamo aspettative alte. Non ci è piaciuto Antipasto piemontese? Flan di zucca con bagnacauda amarissima,(probabilmente alici vecchie), 1 fettina di cotechino e 1 di salame di fegato, 1 fettina di lingua salmistrata con salsa verde amara. Forse avendo appena riaperto qualche cosa mancava Non ci hanno portato né l’insalata russa né il vitello tonnato ,,,,,, Buoni gli agnolotti al sugo d’arrosto.
