Located on the Via Francigena, it is a stop nestled in the infinite expanses of Vercelli's rice fields.
The place is well kept, clean, with extremely welcoming and friendly staff.
As a couple, we took the menu of the day, consisting of an excellent risotto with toma cheese and hazelnuts, truly of a high standard, and a splendid chicken leg with paprika, accompanied by delicious sautéed "croissants" (green beans).
Apparently a minimal menu, but the difference is made by the excellent flavor of the dishes, and the WONDERFUL pair of desserts that we added at the end of the meal: one of the best hazelnut cakes we have ever tried in our lives, and a bunet with typical Vercelli cinnamon biscuits instead of the more famous amaretti biscuits. Truly two gustatory excellences.
Without asking, a bottle of delicious house red arrives on the table, which, looking closely at the labels that are beautifully displayed inside the room, is certainly a wine of excellent quality, really good.
An experience to be repeated, if only for the desire we still had to try the panissa, made upon reservation or in any case presented on the menu every Tuesday. It is considered among the best in the area.

A fireplace lit with the scent and noise of crackling wood would have made me give 5 stars to the environment😂 but on the food and above all on the impeccable service, a sign of dedication and love for this type of (difficult) work, the dutiful and well-deserved tips . (We are the Ligurians of Sunday 2 February)

If there is a dish that tends to please everyone, it is the cutlet. If done properly, it is an experience that I recommend to everyone: perhaps going to the Sinners themselves!
🏠 LOCAL | a modern tavern that has little to do with rusticity, but which nevertheless develops in a modern context and with references to the city of Legnano. Large spaces and tables that don't shout at each other
🚶♂ PERSONAL | the owner is friendly, professional and never pushy while the girls who serve are concentrated and very quick. A service done as it should be
👨🍳 COOKING | Lombard cuisine with cutlet specialties in many different versions. I went classic by taking one with sautéed vegetables, but there are some for all tastes and the quantity will fill you up without any problems
💶 ACCOUNT | prices are around €25 each for a complete lunch. I would say acceptable for what is offered! I recommend it

Scoprendo Vercelli non si può non andare a caccia del buon cibo e, fortunatamente, uscendo un po' dalla città si incappa in trattorie di una volta che mantengono ancora quell'aura di mistico.
🏠 LOCALE | trattoria tipica dal mood vintage e da quel legno scuro che circonda ogni angolo. Dentro una bella schiera di anzianetti o lavoratori (siamo andati a pranzo) e quell'aria di tempo che si ferma riscontrabile solo in questi luoghi.
🚶♂ PERSONALE | le ragazze al servizio e la titolare sono simpatiche e immediate, pochi fronzoli ma via con l'ordine e zero tempo da perdere. Hanno sempre un sorriso per tutti, che non fa mai mail
👨🍳 CUCINA | tipica di quella zona dove la panissa (o paniscia) la fa da padrona. Io ho preso un piatto di quella + delle polpette. Tutto buono, forse già pronto e poi riscaldato, ma buono.
💶 CONTO | in 2 con 2 piatti, una bottiglia di vino, il dolce e il caffè abbiamo speso 35€. Direi un prezzo assolutamente onesto per quanto offerto.
