I went to Trattoria Montonero with friends for a pre-Christmas dinner and was truly satisfied. The atmosphere was welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends. The menu offered several traditional local dishes. I particularly enjoyed the panissa, which I found truly excellent. The other dishes my friends ordered were also very popular, a sign of authentic and well-prepared cuisine. The staff was friendly and helpful, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to Trattoria Montonero and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic place to enjoy excellent local food.

A restaurant just steps from Vercelli. Excellent panissa, very good fritto misto, plentiful and not greasy, served in batches so it's always hot.
Very friendly staff.
We'll definitely be back.

We weren't at all happy.
The dishes were very poor, nothing like a trattoria.
Traveling around Italy, tasting, and evaluating every corner of it for work, there are worse things, but there are also better.
The panissa we'd tasted at other restaurants was 10 times better.
In the end, we even had problems with the bill, not even being able to calculate the amount due from the order and table number.
Not recommended.
I hadn't booked, so I had to wait. The owner was very kind and helpful.
Excellent food, red wine served, and fast service.

We had lunch at this restaurant on our way to Vercelli... set menu Monday through Saturday with excellent food and truly amazing desserts. The place was crowded, so we had to wait a bit for our dishes, but it was worth it. Highly recommended!! We'll definitely be back.

For lunch, there's always a business lunch menu for €15, including wine, water, and coffee. I forgot... it's also available on Saturdays!
