I read a lot of good reviews about this place and I went for my 40th while I was in Rome with my partner and my parents. It’s impossible to get a table so book ahead. The food was great except one starter (the deep fried olives one) was bland and boring. The wine the waiter suggested went nicely with our mains. They also had a lovely desert wine. Service was good but they were busy and definitely missed a few things. We mentioned we were celebrating my 40th but they didn’t really seem to care. The atmosphere and vibe is fantastic. I would definitely go back if I ever went to Rome again (but I won’t).

I really liked the wide selection on the menu, there was a lot to choose from, and I was happy with my choice – the dish turned out delicious. One of the best, if not the best, meals of our entire Italy trip and we had a ton of great meals. Family run, food was excellent. Best duck I’ve ever had and the tortello is a must order. Great prices. Come here if you want great cooking without a ton of tourists.

The staff were very friendly and even spoke Japanese, making the delicious food even more enjoyable. 💞 The staff also recommended a wine, which was absolutely delicious! ✨ It paired perfectly with the pasta and salad, making for a truly wonderful experience. This restaurant is well worth the price. 💐 I'll definitely return when I'm in Rome. ✨

20/07/2025: Everything was perfect. The carbonara was among the best in Rome (as was the gricia my girlfriend had). The oxtail stew was delicious; the meat melted in your mouth, and the soffritto made it incredibly flavorful. Bonelli, a guarantee of quality and value!
