We chose the set menu. It's designed to leave you feeling full and satisfied, but not nauseous. Traditional Sicilian appetizers, two first courses—one with wild boar ragù and one with porcini mushrooms—a meat-based main course, freshly fried ricotta ravioli, and finally coffee and amaro. We also ordered a mixed fried dish (chips, panelle, and croquettes), perfectly fried! The atmosphere was classic, like those you don't find anymore. Excellent value for money. Despite the crowds, the service was excellent. Not only will we return, but we highly recommend it.

If you want to try typical, rustic Sicilian cuisine, this trattoria is perfect! You drive up from the touristy coastal towns just before Montelepre. The dishes are more mountainous, like the Ragù al Cinghiale – extremely delicious! The typical Sicilian appetizers are also highly recommended. The chef cooks with palpable passion and is happy to say hello in German or even Swiss German. An authentic, warm experience! Grazie Caterina 🥰

12/12/2025: Two of us went to Pizzotto with a reservation. As soon as we arrived, they showed us to our table immediately, with courtesy and kindness. They recommended I start with a cocktail, and I chose a Negroni. Without asking, they also offered me a generous portion of potato chips, a much-appreciated treat. We chose two pizzas, one "gourmet" which I highly recommend, with excellent ingredients and plenty of it. My partner chose a simple Margherita with kamut dough (being gluten-intolerant), which was also truly delicious. They even brought her packaged cutlery to avoid cross-contamination. In these cases, attention to detail is very important given the delicate nature of the matter. My compliments! Finally, we rounded out the dinner with an almond parfait, also gluten-free, which was delicious! They even gave us a discount at the end, truly kind. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended, especially for those with gluten intolerances. You will find everything here, completely safe! Thanks again.
