A rustic place, spectacular cuisine, generous portions, and the owner and staff are incredibly friendly. We stumbled upon it by chance and will definitely return. The ingredients are excellent.

The pleasure of being right in the center! Attention, friendliness, quality. The tasting menu is not to be missed; be warned, the portions are generous. Wide selection of local wines. We'll be back, possibly very soon, on our next trip to Ivrea.

Return to the 1970s. To the kitchen as it was before the world went crazy. To find water already at the table and no sticker on the door inviting you in because Gambero Rosso or the Michelin star rating says so… To note with pleasure that everyone in the dining room knows each other, that the dogs come in and sit silently under the table, that the house wine comes from large green bottles that taste so much of the distant past and leave your tongue a little black, to browse a menu with three first courses and three second courses and where on the dessert page you'll find "dessert of the day"…and to eat well and feel at home even if you're a pilgrim on the Via Francigena. Thank you for the excellent dinner and for the sensations you gave me. Thank you

The most wonderful experience and the best food. We ordered the set menu for two. The absolute highlight: the braised roast beef. It melts like butter in your mouth. Bravo! Bravissimo!

A traditional trattoria. We tried the dishes—appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts—all excellent: the braised cheek was splendid, the apple and raisin bread cake was equally as good. The bill was more than reasonable. Congratulations!

A very characteristic restaurant in the center of IVREA. We had lunch during the famous historic Carnival, so it's natural that there's a lot of cheer in the air...the food was truly excellent, we had a delicious meal, and the dessert was also excellent. The bathroom service could be reviewed and improved!

23/12/2025: I went for a company dinner and we had a wonderful meal. You can see the attention to detail in the dishes: veal with tuna sauce, perfectly cooked to perfection, lovingly prepared Russian salad, excellent homemade tajarin, and a tender roast. Attentive and friendly service. Unfortunately, the location near the station isn't the best, but I highly recommend it.
17/12/2025: Due Mondi Restaurant is one of those Turin landmarks that doesn't require special effects to convince. A historic, well-known, and well-regarded establishment, it continues to stand out for its professionalism, continuity, and respect for tradition—elements that are far from guaranteed these days. The positive impression stems from the service, which proved to be very discreet and attentive, despite the dining room being full. This is far from a marginal aspect, especially considering that only two people were on duty. Of particular note is the professionalism of a young waitress, shy but polite, respectful, and attentive, capable of conveying attentiveness and care without ever being intrusive. All this is complemented by fast, well-organized, and seamless service. The gastronomic offering is predominantly Piedmontese, faithful to tradition and built on recognizable dishes, without being forced. We opted for a menu that included an appetizer suggested by the menu, a choice that proved to be correct and consistent with the cuisine's approach. The ingredients are of good quality, well-prepared, and the preparations focus on substance rather than showiness. The quality/price ratio is very convincing, one of the restaurant's strengths: honest, well-executed cuisine, offered at fair and affordable prices, leaving a feeling of balance and overall satisfaction. Also noteworthy is the well-stocked wine list, capable of adequately accompanying the cuisine, with a selection that highlights the local area without sacrificing a few thoughtful additions. In short, Due Mondi is a restaurant that does its job well: it welcomes with discretion, cooks with respect, and serves with attention. A reliable address for those in Turin seeking Piedmontese cuisine, courteous service, and a peaceful experience, where you leave satisfied, without excess, but with the pleasant feeling of having chosen well.

Trattoria Della Posta

24/10/2025: A small restaurant discovered almost by accident, but truly a surprise. The atmosphere is welcoming, familiar, and attentive, with the hostess—a lady with a sweet French accent—kind and smiling, making you feel immediately at ease. We started with two plates of homemade gnocchi: one with butter and aromatic herbs, intensely fragrant and delicate, the other with a tender and aromatic veal ragù. Authentic aromas and flavors, a true cuisine. For main courses, we had a melt-in-the-mouth Fassona beef stew, slowly cooked with herbs and wine, accompanied by golden, perfect organic potatoes with their skins, and a truly exquisite tartiflette—my first—with potatoes, onions, pancetta, cream, and Reblochon cheese, creamy and delicious just right. We drank half a liter of Chardonnay, water, and two coffees. About 30 euros each, a pleasure spent on authentic products and heartfelt cuisine. A simple yet thoughtful menu, with options for vegetarians and celiacs, ingredients sourced from local farms, and a clear focus on quality. In short: a cuisine that speaks of passion, authenticity, and local tradition. One of those places where a few things done well are worth more than a thousand frills. Highly recommended.

I'll definitely be back: don't miss the pasta with butter and herbs, the tartiflette, the pistachio tiramisu, and the pear and almond cake. Selected local and organic products.
