By chance we found a place in this place that was half a grocery store. Everyone who asked for a starter was told that it wasn't possible because on the other side there were people who wanted sandwiches. So what? Remove it from the menu and then, honestly, you couldn't see all this crowd waiting for sandwiches

Typical Arezzo restaurant, on one side the food and vegetable shop with many local products, there is the possibility of consuming cold dishes inside the shop; adjacent is the historic trattoria which serves traditional local dishes at honest prices. Friendly service, informal venue.

Cozy, excellent dishes and average prices

Trovato posto all’ultimo secondo… buono l’ antipastone con bruschette miste, affettati e formaggi; pici cacio e pepe e ribollita saporiti. Un litro di vino della casa e acqua, € 52: direi un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. L’unica cosa che non ci è molto piaciuta, è stata l’atteggiamento del proprietario : ci porta un menù scritto in inglese e gli chiediamo se c’è quello in italiano. Ci risponde di no, tanto si capisce… dopo i primi chiediamo nuovamente il menù per scegliere un secondo: ci dice che sarebbe stato meglio un dolce, perchè avevano finito il primo turno e avremmo dovuto aspettare almeno 20 minuti… Alla fine non abbiamo preso più nulla…

The traditional Tuscan dishes are carefully crafted and tasty. The meat is excellent. Welcoming and familiar staff. Four-legged friends are also welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we returned several times to taste the various specialties. We recommend it.

Characteristic and very friendly place. The staff is very kind and attentive. The food is amazing!! Especially the chocolate and pear cake. Typical tavern at crazy prices! If you pass through Arezzo go there!

Trattoria Mazzoni, located in a charming period building in the heart of Arezzo, offers an authentic culinary experience rich in flavours. The cuisine is undoubtedly the strong point: traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, expertly crafted to enhance every flavour. We tried the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the tripe and were satisfied. The historic atmosphere of the building adds a touch of charm to the experience, even if the interior furnishings seem a little neglected and could do with a renovation to live up to the quality of the dishes served. Even the service, although courteous, could be more attentive and cared for to make the welcome live up to the context. In summary, an excellent choice for those looking for genuine and tasty cuisine in a suggestive historical setting, with some room for improvement in the environment and customer care.

Mi aspettavo di più . Ad Arezzo per lavoro. Piatto di formaggi , discreto ma niente di spettacolare , pici cacio e pepe nella norma . Proprietari molto gentili . Prezzi onestissimi
