Fairly good food. The service was slow but cordial (we were the first to be seated that evening), the place stunk like mildew and the atmosphere was the worst of any in Milan and I have been here 25 years. Food good, however.

The warm and welcoming atmosphere of Trattoria Masuelli San Marco made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The food was truly outstanding – the risotto with ossobuco was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the dessert was just as impressive. Every detail, from the presentation to the taste, showed genuine passion for authentic Italian cuisine. A place I would gladly return to and recommend to anyone looking for a real taste of Italy.

Trattoria Masuelli San Marco is where tradition meets soul. The insalata russa is a delicate symphony of texture and flavor, light yet indulgent. The risotto alla milanese with ossobuco is pure poetry — golden, fragrant, with marrow-rich tenderness that lingers. And the costoletta alla milanese? Typical trattoria vibe, standard food but nothing remarkable. Went specifically for the ossobuco milanese, and what looked like a generously sized piece of meat was just a big bone and pure fat gelatine without much to eat. We had to send it back and ordered the veal costoletta instead, which was a much better choice. Great tiramisu and crema al mascarpone for dessert. Overall not bad but not sure I would recommend it to someone either.
The ambiance is elegant and refined, but the staff is inattentive and unfriendly. The cutlet and the mascarpone cream used to garnish and compote the desserts are delicious. The first courses, however, are a little less so.
Overrated overall.

Excelente restaurante com comida deliciosa e tradicional! Paradão chef Masuelli pela maestria em preparar um verdadeiro ossobuco com risoto Milanese e uma Cottoleta perfeita. Restaurante tradicional desde 1921 mantendo as tradições da época da sua fundação. Nada turístico! Longe do centro, mas vale muito a experiência

Grande classico milanese, dall’atmosfera curata e accogliente e personale molto gentile. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto a base di acciughe e pubtarelle (buono, 16euro, ma contava ben 3 acciughe in tutto, come da foto); agnolotti al plin (18euro, eccezionali); cotoletta alla milanese (34euro, davvero non buona ma intrisa di grasso, aveva esclusivamente sapore di burro).
A ciò si aggiunge una bottiglia di nebbiolo, il tutto per 110euro. Decisamente caro, come oramai tutto a Milano, ma complessivamente buono, peccato per la cotoletta.
