My boyfriend took me here last night , we live in Milan so we have a good idea of what’s good. I have to say I wasn’t expecting anything to make me go wow but honestly WOW - I was impressed. The tables , lined with pristine clean fresh linen , lovely use of cutlery and glasses. Even the menu , you can see the effort and they’re neat , pages are freshly printed not torn at edges. Then came the wine a bottle of organic pinor noir from Bolzano , again wow great bottle. Then came the starters - Madonna , I said these are the best anchovies I’ve tasted. There were fried polpette that tasted like the gods made them. Then my dish the duck pasta , again a simple dish , but perfect following the starters not heavy not saucy , sir portion is perfecto. My boyfriend had the risotto (he is a risotto man and OK he said he wish there was a little more saffron , but that’s honestly everyone makes risotto there ow way , can’t fault the dish) then we had the cats biscuits mascarpone dessert. And I thought this restaurant was just enjoyable from start to finish I can’t fault this place. Considering the location honestly I wasn’t expecting anything to make me write a review. But this place deserves the time for my review. BRAVO

At this much-touted trattoria, we enjoyed some superb mondeghili; an excellent saffron risotto with ossobuco, perfectly cooked and flavorful.
The cutlet was poor. It had a strong, "animal" flavor, the breading falling off, a disappointment...
The desserts were excellent.
The bread was served piping hot.
The service was very attentive and fast.

A truly lovely trattoria, and I must say I was quite enthusiastic about it, especially since so many people had told me about it. The service was friendly and quick, no complaints there. However, considering the medium-high prices, I was a bit perplexed to be asked to leave after just an hour and a quarter. I wasn't aware of the shift management system (my fault, I should have checked first), but personally, I prefer places where I can enjoy dinner at my leisure, without having to interrupt everything. Especially since, with an appetizer and a cutlet costing over €60 per person, I would have expected a more relaxed experience.

Reasonably priced, good portion sizes and perfect flavours. What we imagined was a traditional Italian restaurant - timeless.
Risotto and the ragù pappardelle a hit for us.

To be extra picky: the glass arrangement wasn't correct.
They didn't remove the bread (the one on the tablecloth, not the basket) before dessert. Otherwise, it was perfect.
