Very nice place, excellent food

We had dinner at Trattoria Martina in Sarzana and the experience was truly delightful. The restaurant is well-kept and tidy, with a welcoming atmosphere, suitable for both a romantic dinner for two and a family dinner. The menu is excellent and well-structured. For appetizers, we chose the chicken salad and the seafood fantasia: both tasty and well-prepared. For first courses, I had the chicche with shrimp, bottarga, and lime, a very delicate and balanced dish, while my husband chose the off-menu stockfish, which was truly exquisite. Everything we tried was very good and of high quality. A great added bonus was the owner, who looked after us with kindness and availability throughout the dinner, making us feel truly at ease. A place we'll definitely return to. Highly recommended!

A very charming location in the historic center of Sarzana. Professional, helpful, friendly, and courteous service. Freshly cooked dishes. Excellent ingredients. In addition to the dishes on the menu, there are additional options depending on the evening, as well as Sardinian dishes and liqueurs, such as suckling pig, desserts, and myrtle liqueur. The restaurant has two entrances, one via stairs from Via Landinelli, and the other from the back street, accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. It also has two rooms suitable for hosting events, with a dedicated space for the occasion. The atmosphere is pleasant and not at all noisy.

Excellent family dinner. We're planning to go back before the end of our stay. A stroll through the old town at night is definitely worthwhile.

I had dinner with my wife and a couple of friends. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, friendly, and I felt at ease. I drank a truly delicious Vermentino grappa. After a chat and a complimentary Mirto liqueur from the owner, I was unexpectedly surprised when it came to the bill, which I thought was a bit low for the quality of the evening. I don't think the length of my stay will allow me to return, but you never know. I highly recommend coming and making yourself at home.

Lovely atmosphere, super clean, the owner recommended a typical regional dish: tagliatelle with black cabbage, potatoes, and bacon, delicious and fabulous. A great experience, we'll be back soon.
