A very pleasant place, with a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. The menu was excellent, with well-executed dishes and an interesting, quality wine selection. The service was attentive and friendly, always present without being intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay!! A place I'd love to return to and recommend without hesitation.

A small trattoria in the center of Bologna. A very charming place, frequented by locals. We had a great time, in fact, we had lunch there twice. The service was fast, courteous, and informal. The food was excellent, with truly delicious first courses. I recommend the balanzoni with cream cheese and chopped pistachios, and the pumpkin tortelli, which I absolutely loved, with ragù. Last but not least: the delicious tiramisu—a place I'll definitely recommend to friends!

Guys, if you want to eat at a Bolognese trattoria/osteria, then you're in the right place. Believe me, it's a small place, but you'll feel pampered and especially at home. I'm a yearly customer now, and when I return to Bologna, I absolutely have to stop by Mariposa. Hugs 🫂

A vintage trattoria where time seems to have stopped in the 1970s. The food, however, is excellent and high-quality. Reservations are recommended as there are limited tables.

16/03/2026: Had the most amazing meal here with my husband! Hands down the best food we had during our travels through Italy. We were very lucky to get a table - would advise booking so not to be disappointed.
