Mangi & Bevi In Napoli

Since university it has been and continues to be my favorite place in Naples. Despite the wild tourism that has invaded Naples, Mangi & Bevi has remained faithful to its idea: excellent quality food and raw materials and popular prices. Every time I return to Naples I return here and, years later, everything is always the same: very friendly staff, fantastic lunches and Neapolitanism - the real one - in its pure state. It makes no difference whether the guests at your table are university professors or workers, you will certainly be able to enjoy a typical Neapolitan lunch. Thanks to Gigi and her staff for continuing to give joy every day. Very simple summary: hymn to Neapolitanism. P.S. A place that has parmigiana as a side dish already says a lot! P.P.S. Dreamy battered aubergines and courgettes.

The canteen par excellence, regularly changed menu, varied and homemade dishes: the kitchen is open. Fast and friendly service. 7 courses, 1 bottle of water, a large beer and 1 coke: 35 euros....what more could you ask for! You have to eat there at least once in Naples!

The experience was a bit chaotic, but very authentic. The service is very fast, you feel pressured to choose right away. The dishes came out of order and I discovered the hard way that fried tripe is not fried, but cooked. The food comes in generous portions, you leave exploding. House wine in a jug, which makes you leave there happy. Despite everything, I loved the busy atmosphere and the food itself!

Particular place with fixed menu, typical in the area and very popular with locals. Low price and averagely good food. Nothing exceptional, but you can't complain. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

Great place to eat if you are in a hurry and want to spend little. In no way they cooked for 10 people plus a child. We eat traditional Italian food. Pasta and second courses of the day. We ate fusilli with tomato and aubergines, a slice of chicken for the little one, grilled provola. The others chose more or less the same, some tried: the lentil soup, the stew with peas and the sausage. However, everything was really excellent and of good quality. Advise! Well done guys, congratulations for the service and hospitality! 💞PS we only paid 7 euros each. To drink we had water and coke, no wine 🍷. Unfortunately I don't have photos of the dishes 😔

Che posto! Gran bella scoperta, locale tipico napoletano ottimo per un pranzo veloce. Grandi lavoratori e organizzatori ma attenti a tutto. Prezzi economici. Menù ogni giorno diverso. Ottimi salsiccia e friarielli, molto buona la zuppa di farro. Lo consiglio a chi piace vivere l'atmosfera napoletana fuori dai locali commerciali
