Good morning, it's Monday. My wife, daughter, and I had lunch at your place! We wanted to compliment you on your restaurant, the authentic and sincere food (it felt like I was eating at my grandmother's house on Sundays...), the friendly, fast, and helpful staff! Congratulations, and see you next time! P.S. I don't have any photos to post because as soon as the food arrived, I ate it all! :-)

Extremely friendly and astonishingly good-value, set-price, delicious lunchtime restaurant. My price-rating includes drinks. Normal Italian food rather than pizzas. Arrived quite late in service due to delayed flight but there was no shortage of menu choices still available. Behind one of the University buildings - Metro Università stop on Corso Umberto I boulevard is a short stroll away - take Via degli Aquari off the Corso. This is a city-centre rather than centro storico area with up-market clothes shops. Shared a table with a very helpful and interesting member of University staff. Local regular clientele as well as clued-up tourists. I will DEFINITELY go back.

Well, let me tell you, the restaurant was packed with locals and a few tourists who had the nerve to wait and push their way in to get a table. For 20 euros, we enjoyed fried fish, swordfish, and tripe, washed down with a half-bottle of white wine, seated with a Spanish and Italian couple. It's not haute cuisine, but it's very good and fresh. So go for it!

A typical Neapolitan spot, open only at lunchtime, where we were the only tourists. The food was excellent!! As for the atmosphere, it was Neapolitan, in other words, "noisy," but that's part of the experience. 🤪

The food is amazing at a truly excellent price....they make a pasta and potatoes with provola cheese that is amazing...beautiful, beautiful.

Siamo arrivati a Napoli e questa è stata la prima trattoria in cui siamo stati, incuriositi dalle recensioni che avevamo letto. Esperienza positiva: il menu viene fatto quotidianamente, cibo buono, cucina casereccia, ottime le crocchette di patate, la parmigiana di zucchine, la provola arrosto e la frittura di pesce. Si paga poco. La caratteristica di questo locale è che ci si siede dove c'è posto, cioè al tavolo con altri perfetti sconosciuti...secondo me, questo è un valore aggiunto, che argina sicuramente il problema della solitudine!

As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere brimming with positive energy—the kind of environment that lets you know you're in for a special evening. Huge applause goes to Simone, the true beating heart of the kitchen. His skill is simply extraordinary: every dish that leaves his kitchen is a small work of art, prepared with care, passion, and evident talent. The flavors are clear, bold, surprising, and you can taste how much he loves what he does. The meat is expertly cooked, the portions are generous, and the attention to detail is impeccable. He's one of those chefs who transforms a meal into an experience. And outside, in the dining room, there's Alessia, who is the perfect embodiment of kindness. She accompanies you to your table with a sincere smile, a rare delicacy, and a professionalism that truly makes the difference. She's attentive, available, always ready to help and make everyone feel at ease. With her, you immediately feel welcomed and cared for, like part of a big family. In conclusion: a magnificent place, and I also recommend the MAST E FEST with its crispy bread, which is different from the other sandwich shops with the simple bun that everyone else makes. The only downside is the menu with tons of sandwiches for those who are eternally indecisive. Congratulations to Simone and Alessia, who make this pub a place you always want to return to. Highly recommended!

27/11/2025: From the way it's presented, I would have expected a little more. Let's start with the outside: it's a small, average-sized restaurant, and when I went, you couldn't even see it because it was hidden by external scaffolding. The food is good, but nothing spectacular you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The prices are high, despite it being a Michelin-starred establishment.
21/11/2025: Today, thanks to our daughter, who gave us a culinary journey at the President restaurant in Pompeii, we had a wonderful experience. We were welcomed by Mrs. Laila with kindness and grace, who accompanied us throughout the lunch, introducing us to each dish prepared by the chef. Living proof that Chef Paolo Gramaglia's Michelin star isn't a whim, but a guarantee. The cuisine combines impeccable technique and profound local flavors, with dishes that express Campania without ever falling into the predictable. Attentive service, an elegant dining room, and a gastronomic journey that flows like a well-written story. An experience worth the trip—and one that will remain fondly remembered. Thanks to Chef Paolo and his wife for this wonderful experience.
