An authentic experience in the heart of Naples. Excellent value for money. It's off the beaten path, although someone else besides us managed to find it. ;)

Affordable trattoria where you eat well, and sometimes not so well. Let me explain: there are dishes that rotate weekly and are truly excellent, especially the pasta with chickpeas, but then there are dishes that aren't particularly impressive. I've known this place for a relatively short time, about fifteen years—a short time considering my age and the fact that my mother lived on the Rettifilo behind it—but every now and then I'm never disappointed, sometimes even delighted. I highly recommend it. I didn't take photos, but next time I visit I will and update this post.

This trattoria is a "fast and inexpensive" place, with delicious, home-cooked food. We've been twice and only didn't really like the salads: they have different names, but the basics are a handful of leaves for 4 euros, drizzled with a ladle of oil. Incidentally, everything else comes with a ladle of oil, too, so be prepared 😅 It's mostly locals, and a line forms immediately after opening, so it's best to arrive early. You might be seated at the same table with other guests (most likely if you come in a group of fewer than 4-5 people), and the place is noisy and busy. But that's the beauty of it 😻 New dishes every day, you can easily get a thin steak or fish for 5 euros, or even an overgrown chicken leg (we didn't try one ourselves, but we saw a man at our table receive a 400-gram piece of chicken like that) – these are the prices for main courses as of September 2025. Overall, it's great! If we lived in Naples longer, we'd definitely eat here every day. Thank you and may your establishment prosper!

Lunch highlight...truly Italian. No frills...small menu—fill out a form yourself and off you go. Everyone is very friendly and authentic.

A true traditional trattoria, delicious. You pay nothing for delicious food! Definitely worth a try! :)

This place deserves to be recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ragazzi siete fantastici!

If you want to experience something authentic, away from the tourist crowds and closer to how the locals live— try their menu when you’re in Naples. I really enjoy the local atmosphere and the warm service.

Siamo arrivati a Napoli e questa è stata la prima trattoria in cui siamo stati, incuriositi dalle recensioni che avevamo letto. Esperienza positiva: il menu viene fatto quotidianamente, cibo buono, cucina casereccia, ottime le crocchette di patate, la parmigiana di zucchine, la provola arrosto e la frittura di pesce. Si paga poco. La caratteristica di questo locale è che ci si siede dove c'è posto, cioè al tavolo con altri perfetti sconosciuti...secondo me, questo è un valore aggiunto, che argina sicuramente il problema della solitudine!

Tipica trattoria napoletana , tutto eccezzionale cucinato in modo casereccio, mai visto prezzi cosi bassi .. personale simpaticissimo.. ci ritorneremo sicuramente
