If you're looking for authentic food and local atmosphere, this is the place to eat in Matera. Eggplant lasagna is absolutely delicious and so is the Cavatelli alla lucana.

The atmosphere and dishes are quite popular, as a trattoria should be! In my opinion, all the dishes were missing something that would hold them together better and give them the finishing touch!
Prices are too high for the quality/service/ambience price.

We came here based on the reviews, and we had a great time. The first courses were truly delicious. The fried breadcrumb balls with sauce and the fresh pasta were superb. The cruschi peppers were excellent. Highly recommended.

Grandma Michela's sauce with traditional braciole, breaded meatballs, and sausage is an exceptionally delicious experience, washed down with excellent Primitivo wine. And what about the fried eggplant as an appetizer? Yummy!

We went to dinner at this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. Expectations were exceeded. Homemade but well-prepared dishes, generous portions—we couldn't have expected better!
An appetizer, two first courses, a second course, two glasses of wine, €74—a very reasonable price.
We'll definitely be back!

Siamo stati in questa trattoria a cena. Ottimi gli antipasti a base di funghi cardoncelli, peperoni cruschi fritti. Molto saporiti anche i primi con pasta fresca e fave. Il ristorante offre sicuramente piatti della tradizione materana cucinati da un ottimo chef . Servizio veloce e cortese

Μια ημερα με διανυκτερευση στη Matera-πεινασμενοι-μας ειχαν συστησει αυτη τη τρατορια,περίπου 200 μ απο το κεντρο,αλλά ουτε κρατηση γινοταν ουτε ανοιγε πριν τις 8μμ
