I have been to this restaurant many times for work and I had the opportunity to introduce it to my partner. What can I say: wonderful welcome, excellent service and truly genuine local dishes. It's always worth stopping here!

I went to this restaurant because it was in the center of Matera for work. A trattoria where you can taste typical, very tasty Lucanian dishes. The only shame was the service, which unfortunately could be greatly improved. Wine arrived late, lack of saucer to avoid keeping the olive stones on the first course's plate. There is nothing worse in a restaurant than trying to make eye contact with a waiter and failing because we appeared to be non-customers. Very simple environment, like a real Lucanian trattoria.

I had already been there a few years ago and it was a pleasant confirmation. The dish I recommend is the pork shank; you can easily divide it in two if you have already had the starter or the first course.

Locale al centro di Matera, piccolo ma accogliente. Personale gentile. Menù con poca scelta con piatti tipici materani. Piatti cucinati in maniera semplice di buona qualità ma sinceramente nulla di particolare. Tutto nella media escluso il prezzo certamente alto per quello che viene offerto.
