We ate at this restaurant as soon as we arrived in Mateta. The food is very good, the service is fast and well executed, the atmosphere is comfortable. The best business card for a city we had never seen.

I advise not to go. Prices out of place. Food cooked badly. Very high prices. Is there a private security guard because they are afraid of complaints? It is not tourism. Is there a trade association? The English tourists left the place angry. Small restaurant with prices in Venice. I am 100% satisfied

I visited this place because I wanted to try the local traditional cuisine while traveling in Matera. I had the Lucanian traditional cuisine lasagne alla lucana and cavatelli alla lucana, which were delicious. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice.

A trattoria slightly away from the center. A place full of Italians, noise and atmosphere. Not many tourists. The menu is small and delicious and not touristy. For me, this is a great advantage. The chef walked around the room - he talked and asked if everything was OK. We met him personally. He told about the history of cuisine in Matera and about his family restaurant. About how his grandmother cooked with what was there. Poor cuisine. But delicious cuisine. It turned out that he cooked for Mel Gibson. We got a postcard. It was tasty - typically Matera - and very atmospheric.

Exceptional! I found the same flavors and the same care in the preparation of this dish that my grandmother had, transplanted to the north but born and raised in a small village in Lucania. Too bad I don't live nearby to be able to return more often!

Siamo stati in questa trattoria a cena. Ottimi gli antipasti a base di funghi cardoncelli, peperoni cruschi fritti. Molto saporiti anche i primi con pasta fresca e fave. Il ristorante offre sicuramente piatti della tradizione materana cucinati da un ottimo chef . Servizio veloce e cortese

Cibi tipici della tradizione lucana miscelati al sapiente tocco del gentile chef. Rapporto qualità- prezzo ottimo. Staff cortese e simpatico. Non prenotano tavoli; andate lì e aspettate un posto, ne vale la pena!
