They refused me entry with a dog that doesn't bark. Luckily it was a place created to help the less well-off. You can see that they are enriched. To think that so many people were disappointed outside the restaurant by their choice. Okay. I will never enter these racist restaurants again. Among other things, I traveled 150 km to go and eat at this restaurant and the best part is that they don't even answer the phone. A real cowardice and bastard. Never again with these racist restaurants.

I was in Taranto for work with a colleague and we ate there for 2 consecutive days because from the first time we were satisfied, 1 day pasta with garlic, oil, chilli and mussels for 10, 2 day rolls and meatballs with unrivaled sauce. All good, friendly, professional staff who know how to give good advice. The owner feels like I've known her for a long time. I will definitely return for my next trip.

One of the best restaurants in Taranto despite the "tourist" position located at the train and bus station in the city. At the clock you can really eat as if you felt at home, a real plate of pasta like almost only your grandmother can cook for you and also excellent second courses. (I strongly recommend spaghetti with oil, garlic and chili pepper).

A station restaurant in all respects. The place will certainly not be the Hilton but the cleanliness, speed and kindness of the waiters cannot be discussed. And then you eat very well with the old trattoria flavors and you spend the right amount. Highly recommended!!!

05/09/2024: An oasis in the desert. There is no other place like Siddharta in Taranto: there is Mediterranean cuisine, there is wine, there is jazz music. Pino has been managing this unique bistro for over thirty years, carefully selecting the raw materials to offer them from first course to dessert in tasty and passionate dishes. Equal care is taken in the assortment of wines and liqueurs with often niche and sought-after labels. The refinement, attention and kindness of the owners have gathered over the years a dedicated and sophisticated clientele who rightly continues to return and see in Siddharta the expression of a genuine Taranto excellence that is still unmatched.
30/08/2024: The best place to eat and drink in Taranto. Point. It is immediately evident that, in addition to very interesting combinations in the dishes, there is a real attention to the raw materials. Even as regards the wine, I often asked for advice on the choice and they always managed to satisfy the request. Every time I return to Taranto it's a permanent place for me; I have often looked for other places that are up to par, but it remains the only one to return to again and again.
