The atmosphere and staff were fantastic, courteous and friendly; we really enjoyed our stay. The food was excellent. Domenico was our #1 waiter.

We dined at Trattoria L'Oriuolo, and unfortunately, we have to report the wait was extremely long: despite having a reservation, we had to wait standing for about half an hour, along with other families who had made reservations, and another half an hour before receiving our appetizers.
This inconvenience aside, the restaurant is truly beautiful, with high ceilings and many antiques that create a unique atmosphere. The food is top-notch, top-quality. I'm including my appetizer and the duck pici, even though we ate much more!
The waiters were also very kind and professional.
Overall, a very positive experience, but the timing could be improved.

Would definitely come again. It’s a really nice and I’m only basing this review on one pasta dish and a tiramisu. I got the ragu pappardelle. The pasta itself was perfect, al dente, rich, silky. The boar meat was melt in your mouth tender, but I felt it lacked a little “umph”. A bit of salt could have helped somewhat to carry the flavour. It just didn’t quite have that deep, earthy savouriness you’d expect, but it was still a solid plate of food, just not 5/5. Tiramisu was exceptional (yes 5/5), as was the service and the Chianti wine pairing recommended by the waiter. Atmosphere was nice and relaxed, bit of a hum/buzz, place was busy, but it was a very respectable crowd.

A must-eat when visiting Florence.
The portions were enough for three people to eat comfortably, and the wine recommendation was perfect.
The porcini mushroom pasta was also... a flavor I'll never forget.

A restaurant I visited after watching on YouTube.
I ordered Florentine steak, fresh pasta, grilled vegetables, and grilled potatoes.
It wasn't particularly tasty, but it was enjoyable.
If you're expecting something based on YouTube, you might be disappointed.
