I used TheFork app to get a 20% discount (excluding alcohol and some menus). I made a reservation for dinner, but due to jet lag, I changed the reservation to lunch through the app because I was worried I would eat it while dozing off. The server was friendly, and I think it came to about 120 euros including wild boar ragout, peach noodle pasta, salad, spinach, Fiorentina steak (1.2 kg, I got it in T-bone), a bottle of wine, drinks for the kids, etc. (I can't remember) When I asked for the steak to be cooked rare, the server said He gave it a thumbs up and it was an excellent choice. Since the meat is not marbled, you have to eat it rare to enjoy it until the end. Amazingly, there wasn't any blood, and the meat right next to the bone was cooked warmly! You can even smell the charcoal fire! It's really so delicious!! The wild boar ragu pasta is eye-popping with its chewy texture, as if it were fresh noodles!! Make a reservation through The Fork app and get a discount.^^ I was busy eating so I don't have a few pictures of the food.

Vengo spesso in questo trattoria quando vengono degli amici a trovarci. È sempre una scelta sicura che si trovano bene tutti. Il personale è attento e gentile, specialmente Davide. Il menù ha cose classiche toscane ma cambia leggermente a stagione quindi si trova sempre qualcosa di nuovo. Si può prenotare con the fork per uno sconto. I prezzi sono in linea con il centro di Firenze.

The truth is that a perfect experience, delicious dishes and a place that is a pleasure to sit down to eat, the friendly and local staff who clearly know the cuisine of the area, the eggplant parmiggiano and the tiramisu is something I would order again definitely, There were only locals eating, perfect experience

Avevo visto questo locale in un video di TikTok, sponsorizzato come un ottimo ristorante a prezzi modici. Decidiamo di provare senza prenotare, ci trovano un tavolo dopo qualche indecisione. Prendiamo un antipasto di crostini misti di dividere; fegatini, pomodoro, lardo, salsiccia e stracchino e una polentina fritta con i funghi. Tutti buoni. Io prendo i Pici di anatra con salvia fritta e pecorino di Pienza, buona ma nulla di eclatante, il pecorino non si sentiva e l’anatra era mischiata con altra carne. Il mio compagno prende la Ribollita definendola buona. 1 bicchiere di vino, acqua e un amaro 65€ direi onesto per quel che si è mangiato.

Antica trattoria del Turbone

07/01/2025: The beauty of this tavern is the variety of dishes. Different side dishes compared to the area and an impressive variety of meat. Unfortunately, not eating red meat, we opted for rabbit and cockerel, both too dry, especially the rabbit. The side dishes/second courses are very tasty. We had fried porcini mushrooms and fried sage, both of which I have never eaten fried. The first ones are good but after a while they get boring, I imagine due to the difference in consistency. Sage, I loved it. Finally, a portion of roast potatoes, nothing special. They use a very good local oil. We appreciated it so much. The prices are not typical of a tavern, a little high. Pleasant service. An extremely nice and capable lady served us. The atmosphere is rustic but not too much. In my opinion it would be better to remove the neon lights and use warmer lights. Review made after 3 months: I stayed at this restaurant again because I wanted to give it a second chance. I liked it even more. Now the porcini mushrooms are in season, I found them perfect. They were delicious, very fresh. In fact, I then had a pumpkin soup with porcini mushrooms, simple as I like it, tasty and excellent. Courgette flan with parmesan fondue, delicate and very good. Good desserts. The chocolate cake with pears was very good, but you couldn't taste the rum and the crème anglaise needs improvement. Pistachio cream good, but really too sweet, it tastes a lot like white chocolate. I will go back again and again and again 😉

11/01/2025: We entered the place thinking it was a wine shop, but it also does a bar, so a hot tea and an exquisite carrot cake, then I realized that it also did a trattoria and we will definitely go there!
