A family weekend in this beautiful part of Lombardy. We're leaving from Genoa to spend two days discovering new places. The owner of the apartment where we're staying recommended Trattoria Lo Scalpellino, and it was excellent. We enjoyed fabulous local specialties, from pizzoccheri to gnocchetti di Chiavenna, and other local delicacies, including a fabulous bresaola. We also enjoyed an excellent Inferno, a local wine with an authentic flavor that paired perfectly with the food. The welcome was impeccable, friendly, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
