I wish I’d heard of this restaurant earlier in our trip as I would have dined here more regularly. The pork cheek was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve ever consumed. The service was courteous and efficient and I’d highly recommend a visit here.

This restaurant was the best meal we had in Sicily and felt like a hidden gem in this small little town with Etna in the distance. It should have a Michelin star. And the wine they offered us was a red which I don’t usually love but it was literally the best wine I’ve ever had in my life. A treasure of a dinner. A favorite memory from our trip.

Finally, a restaurant I like. Welcoming, understated, and simply elegant. The staff is competent, polite, and just the right amount of friendly. Delicious food, compliments to the chef, who displays expertise in selecting the finest ingredients and a wonderful touch, focusing primarily on Sicilian tradition but with a subtle and discreet innovative twist—a nuance, so to speak. The Etna white wine we were served was also excellent, minerally and elegant. Congratulations all round, we'll definitely see you again soon.

We celebrated a family birthday during a weekend on Etna. I found the place to be very clean and well-kept, and they welcomed us with courtesy and professionalism. The fresh mushrooms were excellent, and the Angus steak the lady recommended was excellent. I'll gladly return.

Tasty food and good service at cozy Trattoria LinguaGrossa. I had a starter of octopus and my husband pasta. Also a wine from Etna. Nice place with a pleasant sound volume. One minus is that the menu is in an app, we prefer paper menus.
