We were in Bari a few days ago enjoying some pizza when a staff member (Samuel) recommended Locanda dell’Elfo—and we’re so glad he did. This cozy little spot had a warm, family feel from the moment we walked in. I had the gnocchi and my wife ordered the cavatelli with seafood—both were absolutely fantastic. The food was fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the wine. It’s a small place, but that just adds to the charm. Not sure if the staff are actually family, but it certainly felt that way in the best possible sense. Highly recommend.

I really liked the place. The food was very good and so was the ambience. I chose the food typical of this region "Orechiette con cime de rapa" I can only recommend it

Extremely friendly and attentive staff. I don't speak Italian and this was not an issue. The food was very good, I had the spaghetti assassina - the staff brought out some stracciatella on the side with the pasta (which was delicious) didn't need the cheese but thoroughly enjoyed it. And they didn't charge me for this side, nor did they charge me for the aperitvo they brought out either! The casa vinno rosso was very drinkable! Lovely spot outside of the church in the piazza! Highly recommend!

Sabato 8 marzo abbiamo prenotato in questo locale per pranzo in famiglia. Gli antipasti erano ottimi e la pasta pure. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro!

Tutto davvero buono! Ottime le orecchiette con le cime di rapa, così come la grigliata mista che abbiamo preso per secondo. I prezzi sono onesti ed il servizio è davvero molto rapido ed attendo. Consigliatissimo per pranzare a Bari vecchia

19/02/2025: Top quality, all artisanal food and a very well-kept and nice location, for a first-rate tea or coffee in a peaceful atmosphere! Very friendly and kind staff. If I could, I would give a well-deserved 10 stars!!
18/02/2025: Every morning I go to have breakfast in this bar not only for the goodness of the savory preparations from the panzerottini made the same day and with the chopped tomato inside the sandwiches, real miniature works of art with the most assorted fillings; but also because coming to this bar is like going to visit a relative skilled in the kitchen, you are welcomed with the affection and warmth typical of the family, which is why I can't imagine spending the morning in any other bar other than this one 😍😍❤️❤️🤤🤤
