Trattoria Lea In Città di castello

Clean place, pleasant atmosphere and good food. The pleasure of sitting at the table.

The crostini were very good, even though the truffle alone wasn't very tasty. We then had fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, which were excellent and plentiful. Prices were average.

Excellent trattoria in the center of Città di Castello, with quality first courses and excellent meat. Fast service.

Good dishes, the appetizer didn't shock me but the first courses were great, you can also eat gluten-free

On a short tour today, we briefly visited Città di Castello and, hungry and thirsty, ended up at Trattoria Lea. We weren't familiar with the restaurant, but we'll definitely be back to enjoy the same delicious dish—namely, the best tagliatelle con tartufo we've ever tasted! The homemade pasta, cooked perfectly "al dente" with a creamy, not-too-heavy butter sauce and topped with a generous portion of finely shaved aromatic truffle slices, arrived freshly prepared and hot. Complemented with a little grated pecorino, it was a delight from first to last bite.

Elegant and refined atmosphere. Wide menu selection, including gluten-free options. Very good food with generous portions. Generous truffles!

Trattoria semplice ma con dei piatti ottimi

In viaggio verso il cuore dell'Umbria ci siamo fermati a Città di Castello per il pranzo, attirati dalla segnalazione di un ristorante su una guida. E soprattutto da una parola: tartufo. La trattoria Lea è molto grande, ma anche molto frequentata, in massima parte da gente del posto, infatti è consigliabile prenotare. Con un po' di fortuna abbiamo trovato un tavolo e nonostante un po' di attesa (il ristorante era alla capienza massima) siamo stati estremamente soddisfatti. Buoni e vari gli antipasti misti, assolutamente straordinari i primi: tagliatelle e gnocchetti al tartufo bianco, di cui erano letteralmente ricoperti (al doppio di un primo normale, prezzo assolutamente giustificato). Buoni anche i mazzafegati, presidio slow food locale, assaggiati come secondo.

Locale carino in centro al paese, Volevamo assaggiare dei funghi e del tartufo ma non siamo stati molto soddisfatti, il tartufo sulle bruschette era praticamente insapore e inodore, mai capitata una cosa del genere, i funghi nelle tagliatelle non erano un gran che, mentre le tagliatelle erano buone. Funghi alla griglia discreti e cipolla buona. Servizio buono.

Molto carino il locale che denota la tradizione e l’accoglienza del luogo. Pietanze generose dai sapori gradevoli. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.
