Coming to Città di Castello for university, especially Unilink University, isn't just about immersing yourself in your studies: sometimes it also means indulging in precious moments of sharing. This very spirit inspired the dinner I organized with all my colleagues... and it turned into an experience I'll never forget. The restaurant we chose turned out to be a little gem nestled in the heart of Umbria. The location immediately struck me: unique, meticulously crafted, combining elegance and warmth in a rare balance. It wasn't just a beautiful place, but an environment that seemed to welcome everyone who entered, almost embracing them. Making everything even more harmonious was the staff: professional, thoughtful, and attentive without ever being intrusive. Every gesture, every word conveyed respect for the guest and for the work they do every day. In an age where speed often risks erasing genuine attention, finding such dedicated people is an ethical value that deserves to be recognized. And then... there were the dishes. The true stars of the evening. The cuisine interpreted the local cuisine with a mastery I'd almost describe as poetic, and the white truffle—Umbria's precious treasure—was elevated to a sensory experience. Each course was a blend of aromas, textures, and flavors that literally enchanted my taste buds. There was passion, technique, but above all, great respect for the ingredients. It's difficult to put into words the feeling of fulfillment and gratitude I felt upon leaving the restaurant: the pleasure of having shared a special moment with important people, in a place that transformed a simple dinner into a lasting memory. In conclusion, this restaurant wasn't just a place to eat well, but an ethical and human experience, crafted with care, professionalism, and a deep love for gastronomic tradition. A place I wholeheartedly recommend.

We ate very well and the staff was very kind and helpful. I recommend the fillet with porcini mushrooms, it was truly excellent!!!

Excellent service. The staff was friendly and quick to accommodate requests. I dined on the veranda, with well-spaced tables and a pleasant temperature. The food was a weak point. Tagliatelle with black truffle -> The pasta was excellent and well-cooked, the problem was the truffle, which didn't fully taste good despite the large quantity (I don't know if I was unlucky that night or if they used a low-quality product). Agnolotti with mushrooms -> The filled pasta was good, but the mushrooms were few and lacking in flavor. Tagliata with black truffle -> The meat was excellent, both in quality and cooking, but the truffle wasn't really noticeable. Tiramisu -> The menu says tiramisu, but I received a cup of mascarpone cream (without sponge cake or ladyfingers on the bottom). Either the menu is wrong, or the recipe is incorrect. The portions are generous. Not a particularly positive experience; I wouldn't return.

Excellent location and good food

On a short tour today, we briefly visited Città di Castello and, hungry and thirsty, ended up at Trattoria Lea. We weren't familiar with the restaurant, but we'll definitely be back to enjoy the same delicious dish—namely, the best tagliatelle con tartufo we've ever tasted! The homemade pasta, cooked perfectly "al dente" with a creamy, not-too-heavy butter sauce and topped with a generous portion of finely shaved aromatic truffle slices, arrived freshly prepared and hot. Complemented with a little grated pecorino, it was a delight from first to last bite.

You don't have to rush, the food is good, the service less so!!!

Trattoria semplice ma con dei piatti ottimi

In viaggio verso il cuore dell'Umbria ci siamo fermati a Città di Castello per il pranzo, attirati dalla segnalazione di un ristorante su una guida. E soprattutto da una parola: tartufo. La trattoria Lea è molto grande, ma anche molto frequentata, in massima parte da gente del posto, infatti è consigliabile prenotare. Con un po' di fortuna abbiamo trovato un tavolo e nonostante un po' di attesa (il ristorante era alla capienza massima) siamo stati estremamente soddisfatti. Buoni e vari gli antipasti misti, assolutamente straordinari i primi: tagliatelle e gnocchetti al tartufo bianco, di cui erano letteralmente ricoperti (al doppio di un primo normale, prezzo assolutamente giustificato). Buoni anche i mazzafegati, presidio slow food locale, assaggiati come secondo.
