An excellent trattoria serving traditional dishes and delicious local wines. It's hard to find trattorias or restaurants in the countryside open at midday this season, and this is a credit to the owners' efforts to stay open. Highly recommended, excellent value.

The menu changes frequently depending on the availability of ingredients; the kitchen creates dishes prepared with love and passion, with authentic, rich, and succulent flavors. High quality for a satisfying meal. Very friendly and welcoming service. Absolutely fair prices.

We stopped by without a reservation and were welcomed without any problems. We mentioned that we had three children, and they were happy with their accommodations. Excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and very kind and attentive staff. We'll definitely be back.

Eravamo di passaggio a Scansano e abbiamo deciso di provare questa Trattoria immersa nelle verdi colline. Si è rivelata un’ottima esperienza. Gli antipasti della casa sono tutti squisiti, i pici ai carciofi eccezionali, per finire con i gustosissimi dolci fatti in casa. Tutto perfetto. Non vedo l’ora di ritornare in questa meravigliosa Trattoria.

12/06/2026: If you want to escape the tourist crowds in Pitigliano and enjoy a meal in a natural setting with homemade food, this is the place for you! Good parking and the owners are attentive and friendly. We'll be back!
09/06/2026: We stopped by Agriristoro Focacceria La Dogana in the afternoon while traveling from Pitigliano to Sovana. We contacted Giovanni by phone and he invited us to stay, and we were grateful for it. He is a Maremma native, just like the location, which imbues you with Maremma. We were welcomed, well-served, and pleasantly pampered, sharing the wonderful personality of our host. From the kitchen, Giovanni's wife, Monia, offers authentic dishes and a great ability to meet our expectations. If we were to return, we would gladly return for seconds. For those who are waiting to hear about the price, let's just say it's fair... very fair for everything they offer. Excellent and highly recommended.

07/06/2026: Beautiful location, overlooking the valley and the sea in the distance. Exceptional food, the wild boar was expertly prepared, and the staff were friendly. We'll definitely be back.
