Incredible place! We came from Milan for a hike and stumbled upon this trattoria. A unique location and exquisite staff. Giusy welcomed us with traditional dishes made with excellent ingredients. The recipes were accompanied by explanations on how to best enjoy them. I recommend the local appetizers; everything was delicious. Full 5 stars and a huge thank you for the wonderful dinner.

Local cuisine, made with passion and good ingredients. An incredible place in a medieval town. The mixed antipasto is highly recommended. All this while sitting on a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Sinni River. My heartfelt thanks to the ladies who welcomed us and prepared one of the best meals we've had in Lucania. A wonderful memory!

08/03/2026: The cafe in Matera had a great local atmosphere. The atmosphere was very pleasant, authentic and we felt very comfortable there. The coffee was excellent and the service was nice and helpful. It is an ideal place to take a short break and enjoy the real Italian atmosphere. I definitely recommend visiting.
