A positive experience at this typical Chioggia restaurant. Limited seating, so reservations are recommended. I had two appetizers: creamed cod and smoked tuna. Two first courses: scallops and spaghetti alla marinara. The still white wine was also good. The owners were friendly.

This is already the third time I've stopped for lunch at this unmistakably quaint, family-run trattoria: the authentic Chioggia, the restaurant overlooks the canal, and the crowds of fishing boats add to its character. I gave it 2 stars simply because some might find it too rustic, but the aromas of fresh fish tempt you to try the authentic local recipes, which deserve at least 5 stars. Simple dishes, even using simple fish, but with inviting flavors, are their hallmark. The owner and staff are very kind and friendly. I will return more often and recommend it to everyone.

For what you eat, the quality/price is too high (especially a small appetizer plate costs 15 euros), even the first 15 euros are excessive given that the clams and mussels are tiny and already shelled... ... dishes not with a great presentation that needs to be photographed.

I usually choose a restaurant based on reviews, and they rarely disappoint. We ate really well, in a typical little place on the harbor. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

Pizzeria Alla Torre

21/12/2025: Every now and then we stroll around the center of Chioggia and before heading home we stop by to pick up some pizza for dinner. We usually order a pan, even if it's too much, but we leave some for the next day. The pizza is unique due to its dough. The ingredients are always top-quality. The prices are reasonable.
