Highly recommended. The atmosphere is simple but clean. The food is excellent, without frills, and at reasonable prices. Simple, home-style dishes, carefully prepared with top-quality ingredients. A true Italian trattoria, the kind I like. Thank goodness places like this still exist. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind. They also make delicious cookies to take away.

I stopped in for dinner here while visiting from Chicago, Illinois while on pilgrimage to see St. Rita. The family that runs the restaurant are all extremely nice and the food is fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Cascia.

Dinner with two friends after visiting Cascia/Roccaporena. It was my second time there. It's a small, family-run trattoria, serving traditional local dishes, including homemade pasta and meat selected and butchered by the owner, who is also an expert hunter. Keep up the good work until next time!

Excellent trattoria. Walter and his entire family are truly wonderful and professional people, and the atmosphere is family-friendly. The service and food are impeccable, and the bill is fair, no complaints. I'll gladly return.

13/03/2026: We stayed one night and had dinner the evening of our arrival. We immediately felt at home. The dinner was excellent, with well-prepared dishes, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Thanks to Mr. Gianpiero for his kindness in welcoming us. We'll definitely be back.
