Absolutely lovely small authentic Italian restaurant in a quiet street in the centre of Siena. Excellent food at good price with the loveliest service. Was in Siena for 10 days and although wanted to try different places to eat out I was drawn back to here it’s just so lovely. Locals and tourists enjoy, suggest booking in advance. Particularly recommend the lasagne or the meat balls and of course the tiramisu.

Good, simple but well cooked food. Tasty. Baked aubergines. Caprese salad. Very fresh. Grilled beef was delicious and cooked so it was slightly rare in the centre. Great house wine. Family run and the service was outstanding. Great little taverna.

I was looking for a small, family-style restaurant with basic Italian recipes.
I found what I was looking for at Trattoria Tellina.
The only restaurant that offers exquisite penne all'arrabiata.
And to sweeten it all, a lemon mousse that rolls off the tongue perfectly 🥰😇
Thanks again for these dinners, and yes, I went back the next 3 evenings.
And I was also able to improve my Italian, well, thanks to Google Translate 😅

We stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service excellent, and the food delicious, with typical Tuscan dishes prepared with much love, special mention for the "Pork cooked in Chianti wine"!. The atmosphere is that of a true trattoria: small, clean, and well-run. The cuisine is authentic, without frills: I had tasty pici and a lasagna that was more than satisfying. The portions are just right, and you can tell the ingredients are top-notch. The waiters are always quick, because the place fills up quickly, but they do so with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring you're not left wanting for anything. In the end, the bill is fair; you don't feel ripped off, as often happens in these parts. One of those reliable trattorias where you can go without fear of making a mistake. Well done.

Attracted by the restaurant's local and native patronage, we happily went to this place for lunch. The cuisine was simple, but truly... 15 euros for 3 tiny polpete... no...
Not possible... and above all, because we don't speak Italian and were offered Sponk (a spoon) without understanding the word, the waiter went to loudly express his exasperation with us, and therefore with the French. Right after, another slam of the door, this time it was the waitresses who were bothering him. We would have liked to have dessert... but... we were really afraid of disturbing him again...
A sad experience...
