We stumbled upon it by chance and were pleasantly surprised. Absolutely lovely small authentic Italian restaurant in a quiet street in the centre of Siena. Excellent food at good price with the loveliest service. Was in Siena for 10 days and although wanted to try different places to eat out I was drawn back to here it’s just so lovely. Locals and tourists enjoy, suggest booking in advance. Particularly recommend the lasagne or the meat balls and of course the tiramisu.

Good, simple but well cooked food. Tasty. Baked aubergines. Caprese salad. Very fresh. Grilled beef was delicious and cooked so it was slightly rare in the centre. Great house wine. Family run and the service was outstanding. Great little taverna.

I was looking for a small, family-style restaurant with basic Italian recipes.
I found what I was looking for at Trattoria Tellina.
The only restaurant that offers exquisite penne all'arrabiata.
And to sweeten it all, a lemon mousse that rolls off the tongue perfectly 🥰😇
Thanks again for these dinners, and yes, I went back the next 3 evenings.
And I was also able to improve my Italian, well, thanks to Google Translate 😅
