Very friendly manager, but unfortunately despite booking well in advance and requesting a cake with the number 50 to celebrate my parents' golden wedding, we were served a cake that seemed to have been prepared at the last minute. Very good aperitif. Appetizer, although good, bologna, pancetta and coppa, poor for the cost. Good fried gnocco. Tagliatelle with truffle oil, dull. Cuberoll of Scottona Norland, much vaunted by the menu and the manager, absolutely not up to par. Out of seven cuts, six people were not satisfied. Rubbery meat! Incorrect cooking. Despite the 50 euro discount, for which we thank the manager, we paid 450.00 euros (3 children aged 3, 5 and 8, and 7 adults), and for how we ate, I find no confirmation of the reviews. The manager's service is not questionable. The cuisine definitely needs to be reviewed. Too bad.

This restaurant, passing along the road, is hardly noticed, in fact very little, but the cuisine it offers is excellent.
You will not find dishes from the Brescia cuisine, but traditional Emilian dishes cooked with passion.
We will definitely be back!

Today May 1st, my husband and I decided to take a tour of Lake Garda and at lunchtime we came across the Grano di Pepe restaurant, enticed by the menu and the web reviews, we decided to go in. Once inside we were elegantly welcomed by the young owner named Mattia and his Chef Melania. After sitting down at the table we immediately tasted their magnificent fried gnocco accompanied by high quality cold cuts and cheeses... To follow, although we would have also had tempting first courses for greediness and to leave a little space for dessert we moved on to the second courses... I chose a sea bass with a side of potatoes and my husband chose the sheep's kebabs like those made in Abruzzo. What can I say... both the fish and the meat were an explosion of flavours... Really good enough to make me salivate just writing this review... And then we had a total jubilation with their Tiramisu and their Sicilian lemon sorbet. Everything perfect and exquisite... This experience will allow us to return as soon as possible and certainly with friends, as we are sure of making a great impression. Highly recommended restaurant!

We visited the restaurant because of the very good reviews for the food. At first, however, we were curious to see whether the team would actually be a bit unfriendly. However, since I didn't want to marry the owner, I just wanted to eat well, that wasn't a big deal. So I took a deep breath and went in. What can I say? The welcome was super friendly and very warm. We hadn't made a reservation, but that wasn't a problem at all for the nice young man with the beard (best wishes). A table was organized immediately. The restaurant itself is pretty and functionally furnished. Everything is very nice and clean. The food was, as the vast majority of other comments say, absolutely excellent and delicious. Very good value for money. Parking is right in front of the restaurant. Grano di Pepe rightly deserves its five stars.

Informal, clean and well-kept environment. We ate the fried gnocco accompanied by cured meats and cheeses. The dumpling is very good and not greasy. Followed by pappardelle with porcini mushrooms and pumpkin tortelli. The terramisu is very good with the sweet and savory combination. Good quality food. Excellent service.
