A historic trattoria in the heart of Ceri, it represents a cornerstone of the town's tradition. Frequented by many celebrities, but above all, packed to the rafters, it's a safe place to enjoy lunch and spend some joyful moments together. What keeps me from giving it a higher rating is simply the fact that you expect that "WOW" feeling from a place like this, given that the cuisine is homemade and the wood-fired oven is magical... Unfortunately, the dishes were tasty, but not everything I expected. The service was attentive, never intrusive, and with a keen eye for explaining the dishes and wines. The price was reasonable for the food served.

We discovered this restaurant almost by chance and were thrilled. The setting is truly unique: we had the pleasure of dining in the tower of an old fortress, in a peaceful setting surrounded by nature, making the experience incredibly evocative and relaxing. The highlight is the food: the food is excellent! We tried both the pasta dishes and the meat dishes, both truly delicious and carefully prepared. The quality of the food is high and the prices are not excessive, making them fair and appropriate for both the service and the unique location.

We visited Trattoria La Rocca on the way home from fumacino to Umbria. We couldn't have been happier with the food and the service. Very gracious and welcoming staff. But the star of the show was the food; I had tagliatelle with pecorino cream and artichoke. Some of the best pasta I've ever eaten. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. And I wouldn't hesitate to return. And what a charming location...

A beautiful restaurant in the heart of the medieval village of Ceri. The entrance is a bit hidden, but once inside, you discover a delightful setting and two terraces overlooking the village walls, offering truly beautiful views. The mixed antipasto is simple but very tasty, and all ingredients are fresh. The first courses are delicious and rival the restaurant's signature dish, roast suckling pig with potatoes. The owner explained to us that they cook it for several hours, which is why it's so tender and delicious when served. They also have a good selection of wines. Since parking is limited within the village, consider parking at the entrance.

Amazing place! A small village nestled atop a mid evil castle. An unbelievable piece of history feeling as if it’s in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed a walk through the old church and then lunch at the restaurant. There is ample seating inside and outside if the weather is cooperating. They have a large menu with an entree for all different appetites.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent food. I recommend the suckling pig, it's truly delicious. The first courses are excellent and different from the usual. The tiramisu is excellent. I highly recommend trying it and visiting the village of Ceri, a real gem.

A very picturesque location with a view of the surrounding landscape from the Rocca di Ceri. Informal, relaxed, and helpful service. Food varies, with excellent main courses and appetizers, as well as desserts, but not so much the first courses. Decent wine selection. Prices are perhaps a little high, but still good value.

Located in the village of Ceri, a hamlet of Cerveteri, this is a lovely, spacious trattoria. The food is excellent, and the wait staff is polite and efficient! Everything was delicious; I was particularly impressed with the fettuccine with artichokes, guanciale, and pecorino cheese! Their specialty, the suckling pig, is delicious! I'll be back to try the meats!

OSTERIA FRASCHETTA TRINCA

28/01/2026: We went to this fraschetta for lunch on December 25th, attracted by the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. I'd still be curious to try again, as there are definitely some positives. Parking isn't much because there are at least two restaurants there. You have to enter a closed-off street; it's better to walk (as we did) on busy days than to turn back and look elsewhere. The place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you eat in the characteristic, well-decorated, and clean cave area. The staff is friendly, but the lack of a menu and therefore the unknown prices are a major downside. I especially wonder, "Is that even possible these days?" Unfortunately, the limited selection (yes, I know it's a fraschetta, but the prices are restaurant-like!! So...?) doesn't help if you're going with children. We asked for bruschetta for the kids, but they told us they don't make it. Then they asked for simple pasta for them, but they don't cook, and that's fine, I'm fine with that; we're very understanding. The worst thing, then, isn't that the kids weren't satisfied, but that even though we asked for a portion of appetizers (specifying ONE more than once given the situation) to find something for the little ones to eat and then reorder to taste or try something else, they still brought us and charged us 2. That's just not how it's done, I'm very disappointed. Otherwise, the lasagna was excellent, the house wine was good, coming from large plastic bottles, and the appetizer was average/good, nothing special. The porchetta was tasty, but not exceptional (the one from Viterbo is better and crispier, in my opinion). In the end, the kids only ate bread, or almost (they basically bought something from outside), and we, obviously, weren't able to eat it all. I'd like to go back and pay more attention to my bill, without the kids and double the appetizers so I can try something else.
18/01/2026: Really good... Fresh cured meats and cheeses An alternative to the usual restaurants I recommend it I liked it
