Welcoming place just a stone's throw from the center, excellent pasta rigorously handmade by them, even the second courses are equally exquisite with Anna's meatballs in my opinion truly exceptional.
With a special mention to the restaurant manager, truly an excellent host!

A real insider tip for anyone visiting Modena! This restaurant was recommended to me by locals—and they were absolutely right.
I visited here several times during my stay, and each time it was a delight. I particularly remember the lasagna—incredibly creamy and full of flavor—and the heavenly Torta Tenerina, served with a delicious mascarpone cream. A perfect ending to a great meal!
The ambiance also deserves praise: cozy, lovingly designed, and with great attention to detail. The icing on the cake was the exceptional friendliness of the entire team—attentive, professional, and always with a smile.
A place I will definitely return to—and one I highly recommend!

It's not often that you find a place that makes you feel truly at home, but here it happened. During my long stay in Modena I was lucky enough to dine several times in this splendid trattoria, and each experience was memorable. The cuisine is an authentic homage to the Modena tradition: each dish is prepared with care and passion, and the quality can be perceived in every bite. I particularly appreciated the meats cooked in the wood oven, which release truly unique aromas and flavors.
Another special moment was being able to observe the preparation of tortellini up close, made with a mastery that speaks of years of experience and love for cooking. A special thanks goes to the chef, who despite a particularly crowded evening, found the time to exchange a few words with me.
A heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their kindness, attention and impeccable welcome. I can't wait to come back!

After having wandered far and wide through the trattorias and restaurants in the center of Modena I have to say that this is the only one that has disappointed me a little so far. The fried gnocco was hard and crumbly, something that some people do but it is quite rare, the cured meats (the coppa above all) seemed to have been sliced with a machete. The lasagna was dry and almost devoid of seasoning, it only tasted of flour. The tagliatelle with ragù were very rare, that is, a ragù that although it was good was very different in style from other ragùs in the area, I asked if the chef could explain to me how he makes the ragù and when he came to the table the young lady who acts as head waiter behind me got annoyed and made rude gestures at my request (this is what my wife who is watching her from afar tells me). The very worried waitress sensed that there was something wrong with our dishes and asked us several times if everything was okay... On a positive note, the prices are slightly lower than the average in the center, the suggestions on wine were spot on.

Abbiamo provato questa conosciuta trattoria in una serata uggiosa. Il fatto di essere gli unici clienti ha reso l'atmosfera un pochino imbarazzante. Antipasto buono, tagliatelle al ragù poco incisive, polpettine di melanzane un pò misere e troppo care, bensone nella media. Cameriera gentile.

I was at the balsamic vinegar themed evening with guest and speaker Mario Gambigliani Zoccoli, a very very pleasant evening, two types of vinegar (12 and extra old) that we could combine as we liked with the delicious dishes of the restaurant, I bring you some photos of the dishes while I wasn't able to take photos of others because I had already eaten them.
