Excellent experience. We were welcomed by Alessia who guided us in choosing the food and wine. The mixed starter and the two first courses we took were excellent. I particularly appreciated the swordfish roll and the pasta with scorpion fish. The wine, Cataratto dell'Etna, is also excellent. We will return on our next visit to Ortigia. Well done!!!

Atmosphere: Almost perfect dining experience but for 2 things. We can walked in on an August evening without reservation and were accommodated by the owner/maitre de. This is a small family owned and run restaurant. Husband manages the front and wife is the chef. Food: This restaurant serves FRESH seafood if that’s what you’re craving for in Ortigia. We ordered the mixed appetizer and it was amazing. 10/10! For main course, we had vegetarian pasta (not on the menu) and whole Red Snapper prepared Sicilian style (steamed w capers, olives and tomatoes). This dish was 8/10 only because the fish was not properly descaled. Taste and presentation were great. Service: 8/10 Our server wasn’t attentive beyond dropping off the food. The owner came once to check on us after the appetizer was served. I had to get up and ask for some salt and pepper. Price: Bit on the high side. €48 for the whole snapper. Our total tab with 3 dishes, water and a glass of of wine was €100.

We decided to share two dishes, to try more dishes on the menu. They show you the fish of the day to bake in the oven, we chose scorpionfish, a great success, plus pasta with sardines. As a starter, oysters are what we liked the least. The limoncello spritz and the classic, very delicious.

Excellent quality food. Friendly and attentive staff. We had dinner on the evening of my birthday and the owner pleasantly surprised us with candles and music. Highly recommended

In every dish you smell the scent of "Family". Starting from the professionalism of the owners and dining room staff, a welcoming place suitable for everyone. Here you will definitely find THE FISH OF THE DAY. Normal prices (even too low for me) for what you eat. In short, if you are in Ortigia but also for those who don't live in the surrounding area, it is a must-do stop. Call for availability and places.

Family restaurant in the heart of Ortigia where the cuisine reflects the personality of the chef: decisive but delicate. The menu offers a well-curated selection of dishes and fresh local fish. Homemade babà is a very pleasant treat to end the meal.

Piccolo ma accogliente ristorante a conduzione familiare in pieno centro ad Ortigia dove poter gustare dell'ottimo pesce fresco: i primi piatti a menù sono pochi ma buonissimi e i dolci fatti in casa sono superlativi. Il personale è cordiale e disponibile ed ho appezzato molto il fatto che la selezione di vini non avesse un ricarico mostruoso come ormai è spesso d'uso nei ristoranti. Altamente consigliato e sicuramente ci tornerò.
