We enjoyed a delightful meal here on our first night in Ortigia. We had the mixed appetizer plate, which gives you a chance to try several of the local specialties. And we chose the lobster spaghetti for 2, which has a very light fresh tomato sauce. Tiramisu for dessert. All very nicely done, all with fresh local ingredients.

A restaurant with a decent menu selection, but most importantly, the opportunity to see the catch of the day being cooked. The appetizers are good, the caponata is exceptional, as are the fried anchovies. The sea bass is excellent, as is the tuna. Good wine list. The owner is kind and attentive.

Perhaps because I went there with high expectations, I didn't experience the incredible excitement described in the reviews. While the price range was a bit steep, the owner's hospitality and service, along with his pride in his ingredients, were commensurate with the price.

What a gem. Truly deserve to be visited for its authenticity in Ortigia Sicily. The owner and his wife are very innovative and their food is very tasty and fresh. You have to make a reservation.

One of the best meals I’ve had in my life (and I have been blessed with many wonderful meals to date) Francesco and his wife offerred us an unforgettable experience. The small yet diverse menu is deliberately aimed at offering the best Sicily has to offer. I will never forget the raw red shrimps and the beyond fresh tuna tartare i had. And Framcesco makes a mean negroni:) ❤️

Una trattoria muy pequeña pero encantadora escondida a pocos minutos del duomo. A pesar de estar bastante lleno y no tener reserva, la camarera muy agradable nos encontró una mesa y el encantador propietario trajo pescado a la mesa para que eligiéramos si lo deseamos. Fueron atentos y amables y la comida (y el vino) era delicioso, excelente relación calidad-precio. Muy recomendable.
