Trattoria La Lanterna In Cologna veneta

We went today to celebrate a family birthday and Mother's Day. We'd already been there on a Sunday for lunch, without a reservation, a while back, but I recommend calling to avoid disappointment; it was packed today. It's a cute little place, not too big, with a few seats outside. It's well-organized, and the service is fast and attentive. We chose the à la carte menu, each choosing their favorites. There are 5-6 options for each type. The first courses were very good and plentiful, and the pasta was homemade. The various meats were tender, cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented. The vegetables were varied, and the cuisine was homemade and meticulously prepared. The desserts were some homemade, others from well-known local bakeries. The price was reasonable for what we ordered, around €30-35 each. We were invited, but we'll be back. The food was good!

It's always a great pleasure to return to this trattoria. I do so not only for the excellent quality of the dishes, but also for the hospitality of the owner and his staff. If you're in the Cologna area for work, I highly recommend you dine here.
