Recommended by the our B&B, but did not meet expectations. Plating must not be their strength nor priority. The mains were not appetizing in appearance but passable. Pigeon bottom left, lamb top right. Both over cooked and dry. Odd to serve the sides cold. Duck pasta was the best course. Overall, expensive for the average quality. Perhaps due to lack of reservation, we were seated right next to the front door. Would not recommend.

This restaurant is located in the center of Orvieto, just steps from the Duomo. The atmosphere is clean and well-maintained, the food is excellent (the truffle umbrichelli are superb), and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
My only complaint is the portions: the appetizer, for €10, is a bit light, as are the main courses, where you'd expect a little more in terms of quantity.
Overall, I'd still recommend it, especially for the quality of the food.

Nice place. We ordered umbrichelli all'amatriciana and pappardelle al ragù. Both dishes were good, but we would have preferred an amatriciana with more of the flavor of the guanciale, which instead remained soft and almost flavorless.

It was very pleasant and the food was good. The truffle pasta was excellent. The pistachio pasta was excellent. Friendly staff. The lighting could be more subdued, more subdued; the room was very brightly lit. Although some people might prefer that.
