We're here in Campobasso for a project with the Ministry of Health to combat bullying in schools. This place was recommended to us, and I have to say, it's one of the best in town! The liver sausage was delicious, and the staff is very welcoming and friendly.

I arrived in Campobasso on Sunday... and it was closed!!!! I was pissed!!!! I admit I changed 10 people's Monday lunch plans... and they took me :)))) I walked in and found a welcoming atmosphere: 10 chairs... not one alike, and I loved the place. Excellent food, simple, authentic flavors, traditional Molise. I had an excellent affunnatiello (eggs with tomato sauce served in a nice hot pan!) and then the liver with bay leaves, delicious. I then tried pizza and soup, roasted caciocavallo (excellent), and the inevitable cheese and egg balls... but I'd like to come back to try everything! I'm very happy I came and recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Molise cuisine. Bravo!

I remember Concetta's small restaurant, and her dishes, where simplicity and exaltation of flavors blended. Her children have since taken over, and the space has expanded, but the care and attention to food remains unchanged.
