Trattoria La Gratella In Firenze

We found this spot by accident after visiting the statue of David and before heading over to the Duomo. Just walking around, we decided to stop in for lunch. It's really excellent and was one of the best places we ate in all of Tuscany. The Ravioli Al Limone (with truffle cream sauce) is AMAZING. If you don't get anything else there, get that.

If you need to eat Florentine steak weighing 1.3kg and up, this is the right place! The service was top notch from the waiters, among them there are also young people whose friendliness never fails! They gave us a welcome prosecco of their choice (the black wine was already enough since I'm not a lover of sparkling and black wine😅) First the pappardelle with wild boar, the portion was excellent and not abundant but it was the whole dish; it didn't fill at all for the second one that was waiting for us (so perfect😂😍) It was Florentine style with a side of roast potatoes, choosing the cooking of our choice and it was perfect. (Unfortunately we couldn't finish) Finally the dessert; a tramisu made on the house, it being my partner's birthday and I asked the staff if we could put a candle or do something, they pretended to ask our table what dessert we wanted and, after a few minutes, with the lights off they were there singing happy birthday, he didn't expect it 😂. One thing at the beginning that threw me a little was the table that was shaking which is something I hate, I asked a waiter to fix it but I think it wasn't the attendant who stopped at the tables, then a boy arrived who has settled (everyone has their own work position, it's understandable) After all, they were fantastic! Quiet environment and a place to definitely return, if you don't mind expenses and want to eat well, this place is perfect🥰
