This family owned restaurant provided a cozy atmosphere and excellent food! The folks were very friendly. It seems the local folks use here a lot but accommodates tourists as well.
We did not order ‘Fiorentina su La Gratella (Bistec alla Florentino; 1kg of T-bone stake), but Filet Mignon, Veal T-bone, salad, chicken pate, and sautéed eggplant. Everything including the wine was delicious. Oh, don’t forget to keep some room in your stomach for tiramisu!
It seems that making reservation is very difficult, so I recommend booking there as soon as you decide to stay in Firenze.

What a fabulous meal. Terrific hosts! Enjoyed the mozzarella and cherry tomato appetizer, followed by a steak filet with roasted potatoes and ensalata mista. The filet was cooked to perfection. The service was terrific as the waiters took great care of us. Can’t recommend enough!

This cozy and nice family owned restaurant is not too small but feels like that because it is filled with customers. The tables were filled by one, two, three… up to eight people with my observation.
While they are busy, restaurant staff was very friendly and make you feel a regular customer (by the way, they speak fluent English, so egos for English speakers too).
My wife and I didn’t order the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina but ordered veal T-bone and fillet mignon for stakes, salad, chicken paté, and sautéed eggplant. All of them including a small bottle of red wine were excellent!
I usually don’t write a review but this is exceptional.I will return when the reservation slot is available when I visit Firenze again.

Gran comida, gran servicio! Mi amigo y yo nos alojamos en un Airbnb de al lado, y decidimos reservar este restaurante de al lado. Y nos sorprendió ver que el restaurante estaba lleno. El restaurante tiene un menú muy interesante, con muchas especialidades locales. Fuimos por el bacalao servido en una salsa de tomate, y excelente elección. Y también tenemos que dar crédito al servicio que fue excelente.
Estamos encantados de dar nuestras mejores recomendaciones a este lugar!

Bonne soirée dans une ambiance agréable. Les assiettes sont copieuses. Le restaurant n'hésite pas à offrir le digestif ou faire une petite remise sur la note. Dommage que dans la véranda on entende beaucoup le moteur des climatiseurs voisins.
