An old-fashioned family-run restaurant, it feels like you're stepping back in time. The atmosphere is clean and simple, the owners are simple people, but with a lot to say, kind and affable. The food is excellent, with seemingly simple preparations, but with a lot of work and dedication. And then, with great surprise, the arrival of a beautiful red cat that made everyone smile. Well done... I hope to return as soon as possible 👍

For me, it was a great experience!
The atmosphere is homey, like in a traditional home... Warm and welcoming, like a lunch at grandma's!
The furnishings and decor are clearly trattoria-style; don't expect to go to a "restaurant" here, but rather to be welcomed into a home.
We were a table of six: everyone ordered a different first course, although when the trattoria is busy, it's recommended to order different dishes, perhaps 2-3 different first courses per table, rather than six different ones like we did! Luckily, it wasn't too crowded, so we were able to each order according to our own tastes.
The dishes were very good, and everyone was satisfied. We also ordered appetizers, which were also very good, not to mention the cheesecake we ordered: a generous slice!
The prices are in line with those of a trattoria. Obviously, first courses haven't been around 7-8 euros for a long time now, but they range from 10-12/13 euros if I'm not mistaken, so they're in line with current prices.
We even had LEO the cat for company! ❣️ Another touch of home!
Recommended! We'll be back to try the tortelli in brodo.

Family-run (...the Family...). Typical Ferrara/Bondesan flavors; charcuterie board. Excellent first courses. Traditional cappellacci (I always only make ragù...). Highly recommended gramigna with sausage. As for the second courses, excellent hare, braised beef, and salami. Even the wild boar. More than reasonable prices.
P.S. I forgot about the zuppa inglese (trifle)!

This family-run trattoria, with a casual yet refined atmosphere, is a throwback to the past. The cuisine is typical of Ferrara, and the ingredients are top-quality.
