21/07/2025: This was our favorite place to have a bite in Bologna. It was delicious, prices are great, but above all the service and the attitude really made us feel special. I'll never forget how our waiter ran to the back of the tratoria to bring us extra parmigiano to go, just because he noticed how much my little daughter loved it!

If you’re in Bologna and searching for the true soul of Italian cuisine, look no further. This restaurant delivers everything you could hope for — authenticity, warmth, and dishes that feel like they’ve been crafted with centuries of tradition.
From the moment we walked in, we were greeted like family. The atmosphere is intimate and inviting, with rustic décor that pays homage to Emilia-Romagna’s culinary roots. The service? Impeccable — attentive without ever being overbearing.
But the food… the food is where the magic truly lies.
We started with a platter of local cured meats and aged Parmigiano Reggiano — paired perfectly with warm, fresh-baked tigelle. Then came the tortellini in brodo: delicate, hand-made pasta filled with rich meat, floating in a golden, deeply flavorful broth. It was comfort in a bowl, elevated to an art form.
For the main course, the tagliatelle al ragù (yes, real Bolognese!) was absolutely sublime — the pasta perfectly al dente, the ragù slow-cooked and layered with flavor. Every bite spoke of patience, passion, and pride.
We couldn’t resist dessert — the house-made panna cotta with balsamic reduction was a perfect ending: creamy, balanced, and sophisticated.
Wine selection? Excellent — with plenty of local options that enhance the dishes beautifully.
