This is an absolutely charming traditional Bergamasque restaurant with a breathtaking view of the Po Valley. The food is home-style, authentic, and delicious (special mention for the casoncelli) at a very reasonable price. The service is efficient. However, towards the end of my meal, the young waiter, who was otherwise undoubtedly very hardworking and helpful, started asking me overly personal questions and engaging me in conversation about sensitive topics. His persistence was a bit inappropriate, in my opinion. I'm there for Italian cuisine and to enjoy a pleasant, relaxing time, not to debate with someone I don't know. Apart from that, it's a very good restaurant that I generally enjoyed.

One of the best restaurants in Bergamo, faithful to tradition and offering a top-notch quality-price ratio. Always perfect service, polenta taragna and casoncelli are top dishes that are hard to beat. You always feel at home.

Trattoria located near the San Virgilio funicular. It has plenty of seating. It offers a wide selection of traditional Bergamo dishes. The braised beef with polenta is spectacular. Friendly and helpful staff. Quick service. Prices are reasonable.

Fell in love with the casoncelli alla bergamasca. Maybe the best primi I’ve ever had so far. I’d definitely come back to Bergamo just to eat them again.

Bel locale, consigliatissimo se vuoi fare colpo su una ragazza/ragazzo, ne hai tutto il tempo necessario.Da quando ti siedi a quando ti portano il primo piatto( tagliere di salumi) passa circa un ora. Però devo segnalare che si mangia molto bene. G.

29/10/2025: We absolutely loved it!! The bruschetta were sublime. We tried the fresh pasta with truffles, mushrooms, and pepper: all three were excellent. We finished with the tiramisu, and it was truly delicious. Highly recommended! The welcome and service were impeccable.
24/10/2025: I've had lunch and dinner there many times in 15 years. Always, always delicious. The last time, they even had fresh porcini mushrooms. Delicious, straight from the grill. Everything was as good as ever. Unfortunately, these days, the waitress is less friendly. Unfortunately, that's how it is. I don't know why. I've had her three times, but it's always the same. Everyone else was always smiling, kind, and had suggestions for the menu. I still hope they change! I gladly gave 5 stars for the menu, food, location, and especially for the chef, who isn't from Siena, and for the very kind manager.

16/11/2025: We went for lunch yesterday and had a truly pleasant experience. When we arrived, we found an appetizer already prepared, carefully prepared after our phone call. The food was excellent, and the hostess was welcoming and made us feel at ease right away. The atmosphere was simple and familiar: we felt right at home. Just like at our grandmothers' house 😊
