A very nice discovery. The advantage for us French is the unique formula which allows you to discover Apulian cuisine. Varied antipasti, wine and Limoncello included. It's good and very filling. Efficient and friendly service.

We arrived by chance at the home-made restaurant. We were greeted by Isa (who waits at the tables). A beautiful smile as we have known for a long time. We were comfortable. We ate a lot of local food, really good. We later learned that Isa's mother and brother are in the kitchen.

I went to "Trattoria La Casalinga" for a birthday and it was my first time, but certainly not the last. The convivial atmosphere and excellent food made Sunday special.
Trattoria La Casalinga in Trani is one of those places that make you feel at home from the first moment. In the dining room, Isabella's smile and friendliness welcome guests with the typical authenticity of the trattorias of the past, while in the kitchen her brother Nicola and her mother create dishes that speak of tradition and authentic flavours.
The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with a hospitality that is a bit reminiscent of those Sunday family lunches. The menu reflects Apulian home cooking, rich in flavour.
The starter was a true triumph of local flavours: ricotta with jam, coletto sausage and Minervino Murge turnips, mushrooms in oil, olives and taralli, meatballs with sauce, broad bean and chicory, buffalo mozzarella, green beans with oil and lemon, spinach timbale, smoked scamorzine, spicy salami and irresistible fried breasts. The first course, strascinati with dried tomatoes, yellow datterino tomatoes and friggitelli, is an explosion of well-balanced flavours, with ingredients that are perfectly combined with sweetness, flavor and Mediterranean aroma. For the second course, a mixed grill with zampina and Norcia sausage, succulent and tasty. "Last but not least", we must say, the traditional desserts: crunchy and light chiacchiere and zeppoline filled with cream, a tribute to the Carnival period, accompanied by a good coffee to end on a high note.
An experience definitely worth repeating. I highly recommend this restaurant to those looking for an authentic experience, made of genuine flavors and a warm welcome. I will definitely be back!

Ogni qualvolta torno in questo locale a conduzione familiare sono sempre soddisfatto.
Anche se il menù è fisso e varia ogni giorno, la qualità, in rapporto anche al prezzo, è ottima.
Le specialità della ns terra sono messe in risalto anche dall’ottima manifattura della cuoca . Locale con .40 posti a sedere e cortesia del servizio ai tavoli .E’ consigliabile prenotare !

Fully satisfied with every course, from starter to dessert..
The menu is fixed, which is a positive thing for me because it indicates that it will all be made on the same day. All family-run, managed by mother and children, both in the kitchen and at the service. Truly home cooking.. Recommended
