Trattoria La Carrubba In Sant'agata di militello

First time here, thanks to a friend's recommendation. The place looks great, with a quiet atmosphere, clean and tidy. The owner was exceptional, offering excellent recommendations, and the food was divine. All the dishes were fantastic, from the appetizers to the liqueur (kindly offered by the owner). I'll point out again that everything, from the first courses to the meat dishes, was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

Nice place, friendly staff, but an hour wait before I got anything to eat. I was waiting for the parmigiana appetizer, then I asked for macaroni with fresh tomato sauce, and it came with the same sauce as the parmigiana.

Truly an exceptional trattoria! We went back a second time because their dishes were so good! We wanted to try and sample the rest of the menu! The prices are more than fair!! Their black pig ragù is truly wonderful! Our two-year-old ate almost a whole plate of it! Not to mention their cured meats and cheeses... And the porchetta is sublime! The staff is incredibly friendly and the owner is incredibly nice!

Overall, the food is good, with special mention for the truly delicious appetizers. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, made even more so by the kindness and friendliness of the staff.

Delicious food, authentic Sicilian cuisine. Every time we go, it feels like home. The only thing that could be improved is the soundproofing, as it can get a bit noisy when there are too many people.

We're only at the first course, and they deserve a 10 out of 10. I couldn't wait to finish it all. Macaroni with Nebrodi black pig ragù 😋😋😋😋 Unfortunately, I can't post the photo because I also ate the whole dish. 😂😂😂😂

I came across this place by searching online. As soon as I arrived, I was enchanted by the location, very refined and well-kept. The menu was very rich and delicious. But the really bad thing was the wait times. Finally, after a 45-minute wait, we managed to order.... Even the tables next to us were furious, plus I met other people outside while I was smoking. After a loooooong wait, the appetizers arrived.... Really good. For the first courses, another, exhausting wait.... Ditto for the second courses.... And for the desserts. There were incidents of plates being mixed up, and things not ordered were delivered. Summary: The dinner was really good, the location really nice.... The service was terrible.... Very confused, back and forth with poor results.... Either the kitchen is lacking, or maybe they just need more waiters, I don't understand. My friends have crossed the place off, but I might try again next year to see if they've improved on this. Advice to the owner/manager.... Fix this fundamental factor, you can't have people sitting at the table from 8:45 PM until midnight for a dinner. Rating 5!!!

Location molto bella, servizio attento e veloce. I loro primi sono davvero gustosi e la carne di prima scelta! Rapporto qualità prezzo ottima.

A dir poco eccezionale..!! Titolare preparato cordiale e simpatico, prezzi molto bassi per la qualità offerta. Una cucina tradizionale, casalinga in una location molto molto elegante e pulita.
