Let me start by saying that we went at the end of October, the very low season.
A marvel for the creator, Camilleri would write (I apologize for any errors). The homemade caponatina is a must for every diner (go with a light stomach and not too late), pasta ca' muddica and pasta alla norma. A nice wine and the most beautiful stories about the Sicilian culinary tradition that Mrs. Ada shared with us.
The place is tiny, it has more seats outside than inside, so book and don't be late!

A corner of Noto, found by chance.
We were welcomed by a family environment, and with great warmth they prepared a table for us (there were 11 of us), with the collaboration of another table of loyal customers who moved to make room for us.
Served with extreme kindness and friendliness, we ordered almost everything. Caponata, spaghetti alla muddica, ravioli alla norma. Everything D E L I Z I O S O!
Without exaggeration, this is a place worth returning to Sicily for.
I hope to return!

Very good Sicilian home cooked comfort food. Had the Caponata with swordfish, the mussel soup, and the octopus Luciana. All were very good, the octopus being the star.

More than excellent food: the caponata with tuna is sublime, the mussel soup wonderful, the first courses delicious. Much more than generous portions. Very kind, helpful and friendly staff.
The only flaw: on the first evening, due to an error, our order was lost. Ergo, we waited more than an hour before Ada, the owner, noticed. Despite this, not even a small discount of apology at the time of payment (€76.50 the bill for a caponata with tuna, a mussel soup, a plate of spaghetti co a muddica, a plate of ricotta ravioli alla norma. In short... . at least they could have saved that euro and fifty!).
In any case, in light of the goodness of the dishes, we returned the following evening too!
