There were 4 of us who went on a Tuesday evening, arriving a little late due to the parking being unobtainable...welcomed I think by the owner who made us sit immediately, a nice person and absolute owner of the room, we had appetizers and first courses served with the right amount of anticipation and certainly everything freshly prepared!
Let's say that the environment is very particular because it is in a small alley, but in the end it is a highly recommended place... strong flavours, excellent gnocchi filled with standard ricotta.

Ho scelto questo ristorante per un pranzo in occasione di un soggiorno a Noto, per le ottime recensioni lette. Le recensioni sono state confermate. Ha pochi tavoli tutti all’aperto quindi consiglio di prenotare ed è aperto solo in estate fino ad autunno inoltrato. Tornando al pranzo tutto ottimo, abbiamo preso due primi io e mio marito da leccarsi i baffi. Se torno a Noto vado a pranzare o cenare dalla signora Ada, perfetta padrona di casa

Let me start by saying that we went at the end of October, the very low season.
A marvel for the creator, Camilleri would write (I apologize for any errors). The homemade caponatina is a must for every diner (go with a light stomach and not too late), pasta ca' muddica and pasta alla norma. A nice wine and the most beautiful stories about the Sicilian culinary tradition that Mrs. Ada shared with us.
The place is tiny, it has more seats outside than inside, so book and don't be late!

A corner of Noto, found by chance.
We were welcomed by a family environment, and with great warmth they prepared a table for us (there were 11 of us), with the collaboration of another table of loyal customers who moved to make room for us.
Served with extreme kindness and friendliness, we ordered almost everything. Caponata, spaghetti alla muddica, ravioli alla norma. Everything D E L I Z I O S O!
Without exaggeration, this is a place worth returning to Sicily for.
I hope to return!

Very good italian food (pasta al norma and ravioli al norma). The place has amazing italian atmosphere and the service were nice and friendly :)

Supongo que uno siempre debe sospechar cuando hay un gran cartel que anuncia un restaurante con "comida típica siciliana" -al menos no estaba en inglés-, pero me pareció una ventaja que estuviera situado en una calle lateral. Y la comida era deliciosa y el servicio excepcional. Comí un pez espada siciliano y una ensalada de rúcula y tomate; también comimos medio litro de vino tinto local a un precio razonable. Lugar muy agradable – toda la familia que dirige este restaurante estaba almorzando en una mesa junto a nosotros cuando nos íbamos. Definitivamente productos frescos.

Very good Sicilian home cooked comfort food. Had the Caponata with swordfish, the mussel soup, and the octopus Luciana. All were very good, the octopus being the star.

More than excellent food: the caponata with tuna is sublime, the mussel soup wonderful, the first courses delicious. Much more than generous portions. Very kind, helpful and friendly staff.
The only flaw: on the first evening, due to an error, our order was lost. Ergo, we waited more than an hour before Ada, the owner, noticed. Despite this, not even a small discount of apology at the time of payment (€76.50 the bill for a caponata with tuna, a mussel soup, a plate of spaghetti co a muddica, a plate of ricotta ravioli alla norma. In short... . at least they could have saved that euro and fifty!).
In any case, in light of the goodness of the dishes, we returned the following evening too!
