Trattoria La Cantineta In Ancona

This restaurant in the center of Ancona is accessed via a staircase to the first floor, so I think people with mobility issues might have difficulty accessing it, especially since I didn't see an elevator. The restaurant is cute, 1980s-style, with air conditioning, so you can eat outside, not on the street, or under a tent. You can have a lunch break al fresco, with tables set with tablecloths. We had good tagliolini allo scoglio and spaghetti with clams, which was a bit loose, but it was a shame because the clams were there. For the main course, the fried fish was good, but the calamari was a bit too crispy. The service is friendly, and the staff is kind and courteous. I honestly recommend it, especially because the prices are average.

A restaurant located downtown, a bit old-fashioned but with a homey feel and overall well-maintained. The owner's service is excellent. Fish dishes are featured, but game is also available. Generous, tasty portions are available at reasonable prices. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return.

I have no words. Really the best food I ate in Ancona... Or ever. Plus it was served almost instantly by a super nice and helpful waitress. I recommend to everyone. If I ever come back to Ancona I'm not eating anywhere else. ❤️

The food is excellent! Cozze alla senape is so special and creamy l, my whole family loved it! The pasta are all delicious, we ordered spaghetti alle vongole, so fresh! The gnocchi alle vongole, the gnocchi is so soft, there is a little tomato in it, the seafood aroma is more pronounce, definitely my favourite dish! so you can see even if they are all alle vongole, the sauce are different, that's where you know they are serious about their pasta and the condiment, The portion is substantial, price really reasonable, even the white sparking wine is very smooth! 5 stars!
