In the countryside, a traditional trattoria under new management but with unwavering quality. People come here for the exquisite borlenghi (you don't order them, you grab them on the fly from a passing waiter), the original first courses, and a triumph of gnocco and tigelle. The homemade desserts are also delicious. They'll forgive a few overlapping courses and an oversight; on peak days, it's truly packed.

We had lunch today. Typical Modenese cuisine, everything delicious! Borlenghi, gnocco, and tigelle, and tortellini with butter and sage were all delicious. Service was fast, with waitresses coming by often. The desserts were also delicious, and homemade... the crème caramel was out of this world! Reasonably priced, with wine, pasta dishes, and tigelle, we spent about €30 per person.

I went to this restaurant with my family for Christmas Eve lunch. We had a wonderful time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the presentation was beautiful, and the dishes were excellent. The Borlenghi refill was the highlight, but truly every dish (from the pasta dishes to the tigelle and the exquisite panna cotta) was a delight.

Excellent borlenghi, fried gnocco, and tigelle. Good platter of cured meats and cheeses, superb lardo pesto, reasonable price for the quality. We'll definitely be back.

I see a lot of negative reviews about the place. In my brief experience as a tourist, I came here with a friend of mine and we thoroughly enjoyed this place. All the dishes were hot and the staff was friendly! The photos in the post show the €25 menu. Plus, they have the option to purchase their own balsamic vinegar, which I'll happily bring back to Rome!

This historic restaurant in Vignola is a must-try. We went here primarily to try the borlenghi, which have become a rare commodity in the area, and I must say our expectations were fully met. Well done, everyone. We'll definitely be back.
