Dinner last night. Simply superb... extremely attentive and attentive to our stated needs. Excellent food, cooked and served with care. Comfortable and well-appointed atmosphere. Thanks to those who cooked, those who served us, and those who accompanied us, describing each course in detail.

Wonderful place, there's no doubt about it. Located in the main square of a beautiful village, it is characterized by great hospitality led by the lady, whose name I can't remember now. Impeccable food, a great selection of wines even for the most demanding. And what doesn't hurt, they are big Torino fans. We took the 50 euro menu consisting of 2 appetizers, a first course, a second course and dessert. The nice thing was that we were able to differentiate the composition of the menu so as to taste a little bit of everything from the others. To be precise, some soundproofing would be necessary to reduce the noise when it is full. We will definitely return.

Must-visit in the Barolo! A visit to the Barolo is not complete without having eaten at Trattoria in Piazza. The evening begins with the always welcoming Emanuela who is eager to talk about all the dishes with passion and love for her food. Her English is excellent, and her explanations all the more so. The atmosphere in the restaurant is intimate with a feeling like you are really coming into someone's home. For summer evenings, there is also a small terrace. That said, the food is what makes Trattoria in Piazza so great. The food is delicious, traditional and made with love. For primi, the Agnolotti is highly recommended! Portions are good, making it easy to eat antipasti, primi, secondi and dessert. Allergies (such as nut allergies) are well catered for. Finally, the wine list is extensive and offers many local wines, such as Barolo, Arneis and Nas-cetta. Reservations are recommended, but not required. For those not used to Italian dining times: dinner starts at 20:00.

15/09/2025: I'm updating three years later. I had lunch here with my parents, and I have to say it's always packed, and the quality is excellent, perhaps. Compared to the first time, the quantity and type of food have decreased a bit, but here's the deal: three people, four appetizers and two entrees. Obviously, you don't choose, but they charge you €36, including drinks, service, and wine. So I have nothing to say. They work hard and well, and they're always friendly. It's a bit chaotic on Sundays. Maybe it's better to go on Saturdays after the Friday market. Now, if you're thinking of a trattoria or a classic restaurant, or an all-you-can-eat, forget it. This place, run by very kind, courteous, and very accustomed to the job, isn't exactly "polished," but offers a unique service. The menu is what they prepare that day, and you can stop wherever you like. The price of €22 per person includes a bottle of Dolcetto or Vermentino, six appetizers, three first courses, three second courses with sides, dessert, coffee, and a liqueur. But this is what I appreciated most: if you eat appetizers and first courses and stay, you pay twelve euros instead of twenty-two. As for the entrees, I can say that today for lunch they had cotechino, which I'm not a fan of. Pumpkin flan with chestnuts, tongue with vegetable sauce, veal with tuna sauce, and raw beef, and for the first courses, radicchio reduction, potato tortelli with walnuts, and crepes with fondue. And there's no problem with serving the same customer multiple times; in fact, they bring even more. In short, it's one of those few places where you eat a lot, eat well, and can stay wherever you like. Make sure to book because even though it's spread across several non-connecting rooms, it's always packed. It's not my idea of ​​a restaurant, but I have to say I really appreciated the authenticity of the food and the kindness of the staff.
