Abundant food on a cool terrace but without a view

We made reservations on a Friday evening, and they seated us right away. The atmosphere was lovely, with pleasant background music and excellent service. We had fries, mussels au gratin, and fried fish with an excellent white wine. Everything was delicious, excellent value, highly recommended!

My experience at the "Il Tempio di Enea" restaurant in San Pietro in Bevagna was truly wonderful. The food is truly delicious and the dishes are absolutely worth it. I highly recommend the delicious Peppered Mussels and the Nettuno Antipasto, which features many traditional seafood dishes, including Octopus Salad and the signature Gratinated Mussels. My companions and I also ordered the Fried Shrimp and Calamari, which was just the right amount of light and crispy. Their local sparkling white wine also deserves a shout-out, as it accompanied us throughout the entire dinner... and even provided a bit of entertainment, leaving us pleasantly tipsy! Special mention goes to the kind and friendly waiter: he gave us excellent advice on the dishes to choose, looked after us with great attention, and even lent himself to having a photo taken together. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent fresh fish in a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere.

We arrived without a reservation. It wasn't the easiest place to find, and the parking lot was very small. It's best to park in the nearby streets. The lady, even though everything was booked, was very kind and gave us a table. She warned us we'd have to wait because of the crowd. The outdoor space also does takeout (dozens of people were going away), but the tables are on a sort of ground-floor terrace. The white and blue buildings gave it the feel of a Greek place. The lights hanging over the little square, and that's it! Impeccable service and attentive staff. We came here for the gluten-free option, and I have to say the pizza was truly excellent; my little girl ate it all (pictured is the white pizza with sweet salami). I've been coming to St. Peter's for years, but I'd never been to this restaurant. The space is large and very bright. Despite there being several tables, service was relatively quick. The dishes are simple but flavorful and well-prepared, and the portions are generous. The wait staff made a few mistakes, but they quickly remedied them. Well done, keep up the good work.

Excellent pizzas, not only delicious but also really big, so much so that I couldn't finish mine because I had mussels as an appetizer, which were also delicious.

The atmosphere is welcoming and informal, perfect for a dinner with family or friends. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer advice.
