A pleasant evening with friends. Both the cheese-filled cappelletti and the mutton were delicious. You have to return to Merlo every now and then.

Good, homemade food, a very casual and pleasant atmosphere for those who prefer informal dining. The portions aren't particularly large, which makes the prices a bit high. I'd happily go back, though.

The staff is very friendly. They even offered me a coffee, which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was definitely a lovely evening, accompanied by friendly staff and, above all, good-quality food served at a reasonable price. The portions are generous, which is not a given in Rimini.

Al Caminetto

03/11/2025: A completely renovated restaurant and pizzeria in Campiano di Talamello, it's a simple place, excellent for all occasions, especially more informal ones. It offers ample parking. The menu is the daily menu (without a matching wine list), which ensures the freshness of at least most of the ingredients. The only shame is the lack of an "Appetizers" section. The dishes are good, tasty, and generous in portions. A special mention goes to the stringozzi with purslane, a truly delicious herb, a must-try for those unfamiliar with it! The main courses are on par with the first courses, and the homemade wood-fired bread is truly delicious. The baked potatoes, however, need some work (they were a bit tough). Finally, I hear the pizza is also good. In short, if you want to eat something authentic and typical of the area, without spending too much, Al Caminetto is the place to go!

11/04/2026: The experience at this restaurant was rather mixed. To begin with, the atmosphere is quite noisy, which can make it less enjoyable if you're looking for a quiet setting. The waiter was rather cold and direct in his manner of speaking, which didn't exactly put you at ease. However, when it came time to pay, the welcome was more neutral and polite, with the standard question asking if everything was alright. As for the food, it was truly excellent. The dishes were flavorful and we thoroughly enjoyed them, which partially made up for the rest of the experience. In short, a restaurant worth visiting for the quality of its cuisine, but where the service and atmosphere could be improved.
