We arrived at the end of the evening knowing we'd be turned down, but instead we were greeted warmly: the staff were kind, witty, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Il Grottino (Paese): superb seafood pasta and impeccable service ​Review: ​We were passing through on our motorcycle and stopped at "Grottino" in the historic center of San Felice Circeo (be careful not to confuse it with the one at the port!). We just wanted a quick seafood pasta dish, but we were pleasantly surprised by how quick and, above all, excellent it was. ​The seafood pasta was incredibly fresh, expertly cooked, and incredibly flavorful—a true pleasure. ​Besides the excellent cuisine, the service deserves special praise. The owner, Federico, is the true soul of the place: helpful, attentive, and clearly trained to make every customer feel at ease and accommodate every request. A true professional! ​If you're looking for authentic and delicious seafood cuisine combined with top-notch service, this is the place. We'll definitely be back later to try the rest of the menu. Excellent value for money. We've tried several restaurants from Sabaudia to the Circeo center and port... none of them are on the same level. Highly recommended... everything perfect. We won't change again... it's a shame they're closed on Tuesdays. Well done, keep it up 👍👍

We had dinner last night at Grottino, a traditional and historic restaurant in San Felice Circeo. The seafood appetizers and first courses were delicious and fresh, and the fried fish was also excellent. I highly recommend the seafood fettuccine. The service was attentive and prompt. The portions were generous and the prices were fair. We will definitely be back. Be wary of negative reviews, which I find inexplicable.

Generous portions; fresh fish you can choose with the owner; everything is good: from appetizers to first courses, second courses, etc. Overlooking the square: nice and intimate, but the staff could be improved. Overlooking the main street: breezier, more "on display" for the crowds, but with waiters 🔝. Good value for money. I will always come back here and recommend it to everyone.

A typical restaurant located in a small square in the historic center. The fish is undoubtedly fresh. The spaghetti with clams was particularly salty. The service is quite poor, a bit chaotic and disorganized. The atmosphere is that of a trattoria with prices of a high-end restaurant. I wouldn't return.
