A mouth-watering trattoria!
We were looking for a restaurant in Grosseto and found this little gem of a place!
All the dishes chosen and recommended by Marco, the perfect host, were exceptional! The platter of quality cured meats and cheeses, the excellent pici cacio e pepe, and the acqua cotta, a typical Maremma dish, were exceptional! The baked vegetable flan was so delicious, I could have eaten two more! Compliments to the kitchen and to Marco, who was kind and welcoming! The price was right!

What an incredible experience!
We decided to have dinner and chose Trattoria Il Giogo! And what a surprise!!
We started with the mixed salimi and pecorino, then moved on to the tagliatelle al ragu (simply fantastic!), the Peposo (delicious!), and finished with a simply divine almond biscuit!! 🤌🤌
If we return to Grosseto, we'll definitely come back here again!

I had dinner with my girlfriend, who was already familiar with the restaurant. I was amazed by the deliciousness of many of the dishes. We ate very well, but I highly recommend the following: their pici all'aglione (probably the best I've ever had), the wild boar cacciatore, and the Etruscan rabbit; I agree that the rabbit was so good it even had its own livers and kidneys. I appreciated everything, including the warm welcome from the waiter who greeted us and took a lot of time to describe the dishes. Excellent price!!
