Thanks to a gift package, my husband and I enjoyed dinner at this restaurant, ordering what we wanted and paying the difference.
I had a radicchio tart, tender, but I didn't notice any flavor, maybe it was something else...? Second course: guinea fowl with potatoes, very good. My husband had a taglierini, pappardelle (but they were tagliatelle) with culantello and bagoss, but he didn't notice any flavor. Then there was guanciale, very tender, cooked at a low temperature (we also cook at a low temperature and for many hours at home with a slow cooker) with a sauce, which unfortunately gave it a bit of acidity. I'm the one with stomach problems, though, not him. Luckily, I didn't have it. Unfortunately, I think restaurants have preservatives, because at home we cook on the spot, and sometimes we have leftovers even after two days, and we have no problems. Not all restaurants cook, but they have ready-made bases (I'm speaking generally, not specifically). My husband "complained" about the potatoes (roasted or sautéed) being served with the gravy and meat. At home, we serve the side dish on a separate plate. And even in a high-end restaurant, that's how it should be... Wherever there's gravy, it's appropriate.
I gave it a 4, not a 3, because I think they're good. It depends on the evening, I don't know...

A welcoming restaurant with a varied menu, a special mention for the goose (the house specialty), and a nice selection of wines and grappas. Excellent service, attentive, helpful staff, and great recommendations. Truly top-notch. Well done!

I went there for the first time in 2018. I live far from this restaurant, and after seven years, I happened to be passing by and stopped in again. The new experience didn't thrill me; the memory outweighed the new experience.
The food is different from what you'll find in almost all restaurants.
A local specialty is boiled meats accompanied by various sauces and mustard.
Not bad, but there are better options in the area.
Not bad, but not exciting.
The restaurant is in a small, out-of-the-way village.

A renowned restaurant serving traditional Cremonese cuisine, located in a small town in the Po Valley. Excellent hospitality, simply touching food quality, and a wine list worthy of any sommelier. Goose specialties, among other things. Even the bread basket is spectacular; the chef studied the art with one Iginio Massari.
The atmosphere is worthy of a refined dinner with friends or a romantic tête-à-tête.
Booking in advance is almost a must, after the buzz surrounding Alessandro Borghese's visits.
The bill is commensurate with the quality of the food. Money well spent.

There's not much to say, my review says it all...but if I really have to say something, I want to say it... if you want to eat well and above all, real free-range cuisine... this is the perfect place. ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

It's not a trattoria but a restaurant, with generous portions and high quality. Excellent advice on dressing for dishes with wine.
A main course, a glass of wine, and a cover charge are €30-35.
