Once lunch was over, I would go back and try other dishes. Amazing veal with tuna sauce, excellent ravioli with roast filling.
Unique dessert in the true sense of the word sweet salami immersed in a lemon cream which unfortunately ended too soon. Impeccable service. A restaurant worth trying.

Here there is all of the Alta Langa with its quality. An incredible view, fantastic dishes, passion in service and reasonable prices. Excellent quantities. Great wines. Pierluigi makes you feel at home.

I would have liked to do more, but today they failed to enthuse me. Let's start with the positives. The staff were excellent, the lady with the glasses was very nice and the girl with red hair was helpful and cheerful. The tasting menu idea is good and if you want the à la carte menu. Dated location would need some external intervention, the view is beautiful and some embellishment would make it even more spectacular. Having opted for the tasting menu, we started with the cold appetizers, steak - Russian salad - and two pieces of cheese. The first one was very salty (and unfortunately it is a flaw that I have found in other courses), the Russian salad with saffron mayonnaise was good, the cheese, according to my husband, was very good, too important for me to start the meal. Hot appetizer: a mushroom pie with fondue (there are also many saffron pistils which I don't like at all) I would say is quite good. We both took the first courses, Castelmagno gnocchi with hazelnuts, too much milk and something was missing. Agnolotti with roast sauce, salty and too heavy (for me. As second courses a braised meat and a wild boar, both accompanied by carrots, courgettes and baked potatoes (very few unfortunately I would have preferred more vegetables). My braised meat was a disappointment not cooked in proper and a little too spicy, the completely wrong wild boar only tasted like cinnamon. The desserts were a fairly good eggnog cake and a delicious nougat parfait (I had asked for a bit of chocolate on top but unfortunately they didn't have it) price per person. €35

After a nice ride we stopped at the restaurant at Castello di ciglie'. The staff welcomed us cordially. Excellent wine and food. Highly recommended.
