I Quat Taulin has everything to please. The look of a real trattoria,
the innkeeper, the correct prices, even the people who frequent him are the 'right' ones. You could make a film set in the Sixties or Seventies without changing anything and the whole thing is embellished with a heavenly cheese counter. Except... the food isn't that good!: Too bad because expectations were high!

I had dinner at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. What can I say? Optimal! A true Piedmontese place. I chose the tasting menu with veal with tuna sauce, beetroot risotto and fondue, cheese tasting and profiteroles for dessert. All delicious! Without forgetting the excellent wines. The display of cheeses then leaves you speechless.
My compliments to the staff and the owner. I have a feeling we'll see each other again 😉

If today they asked me where I should eat for my last supper.... this is where I would like to have dinner.
Today I ate there for the first time. It has only one environment, simple, cared for to the point of immediately putting you at ease. The staff is welcoming and the owner with his calm manner has everything under control and in illustrating his dishes he conveys the passion that a restaurateur must have.
Then if like me you like cheeses that's it.....here the Tirolare shows off a quantity of local cheeses, one better than the other...all good, I wasn't able to taste them all because there were too many and then the boiled meat was another dish that I really appreciated and above all the sauces were all special.
At the end of the meal the bill is more than fair because the prices are not at all exaggerated.
If you are passing through, a stop here is a must.

Excellent .... everything 🥇 .... superlative food and very nice and competent "Oste": well done! Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Third restaurant opened by Danilo, the cheese man (50 in total), who carefully puts them away every evening in the pantry, after being displayed to the public. The name of the restaurant recalls the smallness of the initial spaces, as well as the "family wealth" of the empathetic owner. In addition to the cheeses, which generate effects of multi-sensory enjoyment, the other dishes tasted also make this location worthy of stars. The choice to offer 1.5 liter wines (paying only for the quantity you consume) is also interesting, not only due to the lack of a cellar. The typical Piedmontese character of the restaurant is also given by the menu offered in dialect. Absolutely recommended!

The only "criticism" that I can make is that the "entrée" based on cold cuts and Russian salad has little to do with it and gives the customer a "low" expectation compared to what is actually the high quality of the dishes made.
Then, an opinion spoiled by my disease for cheeses, all the dishes are actually just a distraction from the superb cheese trolley with an endless choice... every time I came to dinner here, I regretted having eaten appetizers and first courses because I arrived already full at the cheese plateau which is... well, words aren't enough to describe it, luckily I can attach some photos!

Il locale e i suoi taulin con le tovaglie a quadretti, l'ordine e la pulizia (anche nella toilette), le divise dei camerieri e della cuoca, il menù in piemontese, la vetrina dei formaggi, l'onesta offerta del menù del pranzo (risotto e bonet da applausi).
Se un giorno dovessi metter su un ristorante cercherei di farlo diventare come la vostra trattoria.
