It's like a my home. Everytime when we visit Florence,we go the restaurant almost every day. The family keeps us in good company.

We came here with a promotional voucher to try the cuisine, having never been there before.
Excellent quality, traditional Tuscan dishes cooked to perfection, and generous portions. We ordered a full menu (appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert) each, plus a glass of wine, a bottle of water, and a side dish. The bill would have been €105 without the promotion, so in my opinion, very fair given the quality and location (right in the city center). We'll be back!!

Eating at this local and quiet trattoria was a life-changing gastronomic experience.
Every dish was delicious in its own way, but the pasta with black truffle… it blew my mind.
So rich in flavor, creamy, you need to try it to get what I mean.
Service was not only super friendly, but also very efficient.
This place is a gem in Florence!

Restaurant: Simply furnished, generally pleasant, and right up my alley. It lacks a bit of attention to detail. It's a place to eat, period!
Service: Generally friendly, but I didn't feel truly welcome. Perhaps it's because my limited Italian quickly revealed me as a non-Italian? I missed the genuine warmth and genuine hospitality that you experience in other restaurants around here.
Food: It was good and worth the money. Unfortunately, that's all. I wasn't surprised, nor were the dishes particularly delicious. My pici plate arrived cold, and consequently, so did the food itself. But, as I said, it's a place to eat, and eat quickly, period!
Conclusion: From my personal perspective, an average restaurant that isn't a must-visit. However, the price-performance ratio is good, and that's what matters to many people.

My boyfriend and I went for lunch today! Everything was fabulous, traditional, and with a vast menu. We had the pappardelle with wild boar and the pappa al pomodoro, both sublime. The chocolate and white mint semifreddo and the rosemary panna cotta were also excellent.
The waiters were very kind, and the atmosphere was quiet and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My family and I ate at this wonderful trattoria. We ordered two first courses: Taglierini with porcini mushrooms and penne with rabbit sauce. Then we had a beautiful and delicious Florentine steak. For our appetizer, we had two portions of potatoes. We also had a portion of tripe: spectacular. The wine made everything go down, but Andrea did even more so. I highly recommend this trattoria for an evening with friends or family.

Trattoria "I 2 G" in Florence is a true gem for those who love traditional Tuscan cuisine. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, perfect for enjoying home-cooked dishes. I tried the pappa al pomodoro, creamy and flavorful, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The ribollita was a true masterpiece: rich, fragrant, and authentic, as if made by the expert hands of a Florentine grandmother. The service is friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. I highly recommend this trattoria to anyone who wants to savor authentic and flavorful Tuscany.

Sei amante della bistecca? Qui trovi quello che cercavi. Ambiente informale ma curato, atmosfera rilassata. La bistecca è assurda: cotta alla perfezione ... sulla brace, succosa al centro e croccante all’esterno, frollata alla perfezione. Il sapore della carne si apre piano, pieno, deciso. Servizio familiare, veloce e cortese. Contorni semplici ma ben eseguiti: spinaci saltati in padella, patate arrosto. Il tutto valorizza la protagonista: la bistecca. Dolci fatti in casa buonissimi. Qualità alta, prezzo giusto, esperienza che conquista. Un must per i carnivori che passano da Firenze.
