Typical restaurant with really excellent meat. The 3 of us had a 1.5kg Florentine steak, 1.5L of house red wine, 2 starters and 3 desserts...€160 in total. I'll be back

This restaurant is a little gem in the city center of Florence. If you’re looking for authentic Italian and Tuscan food, you’re in the right place. Andrea will take great care of you, from the excellent wine selection to the amazing food. I had some delicious antipasti, fresh taglierini with porcini mushrooms, and a bistecca alla fiorentina that was out of this world—it melted in my mouth like butter. Coming from Ireland, I can say this is the best meat and service you can find. Go, relax, and enjoy!

Trattoria vicino alla stazione centrale, tavoli ravvicinati, tovagliato di stoffa, ambienti affollati. Peposo con carne di qualità mediocre e piuttosto pesante da digerire. Pappa al pomodoro molto buona. Trippa alla toscana buona e morbida. Porzioni adeguate, servizio cortese e veloce. Per un primo, un secondo e un calice di Chianti della casa abbiamo speso circa 30 euro a persona.

Siamo andati alla ricerca di trattoria per il centro di firenze ma ne avevamo una di fronte al nostro hotel e siamo stati molto soddisfatti bel ambiente ottima accoglienza presentati senza prenotazione ma subito accomodati tutto perfetto piatti ottimi e ovviamente buoni conto perfetto ve lo consiglio e vicino alla stazione e comodo al centro facile da raggiungerlo

Excellent authentic Italian food. It was the first restaurant I visited in Florence and wow…. I fell in love with their pasta, appetizers, meats and desserts. I would definitely return. The waiter who served us was very attentive.

True and typical family-run Florentine trattoria, a rarity now. We stopped 3 times during the weekend, the quality was worth it❤️ Traditional dishes made at the moment with fresh ingredients from the market. Andrea is an excellent 'host' who will show you the menu and the off-menu which always deserves it. We recommend the fried cut 🤤 Everything was really delicious, the place was welcoming and characteristic, the hospitality was top notch, the prices were fair. Definitely reserve your place

Spinach risotto is awesome.. You didn't ask how to cook the T-bone steak, so it was medium rare?? It came out and was a bit tough. Still, the quality of the meat seemed to be the best. However, the woman didn't take my order very well. I ordered one spritz, but she gave me two... She didn't drink water, but took a picture... Check carefully!

A cozy restaurant that offers delicious local food. The entire establishment is decorated with original paintings, which engages your attention while you wait for your food. It is far from the Duomo, and therefore the prices are very decent. The service is kind and friendly. The dishes are very tasty. We ordered local cuisine, which I recommend to you too.

21/03/2025: Found by chance, because we arrived late in Florence due to heavy traffic and the place where we had booked dinner warned us that the kitchen closed at 10 pm, so we stopped at this place found by chance on the street, near the Medici Chapels, attracted by the positive reviews in the Routard guide. We tried both first courses, I had ribollita, and a Florentine steak in the center, with side dishes and dessert. Everything was excellent, with more than reasonable waiting times and a good quality-price ratio. A note of merit for the wide selection of wines by the glass in all price ranges, for the very good and tasty apple pie and for the guy who served us the first night we were there, professional but also very friendly and ironic. Not so much the waitress who served us the second time we returned, very rigid and reserved, I understand the tiredness of the weekend in a tourist city, but when you are dealing with the public a smile and a little kindness don't hurt
18/03/2025: Absolutely recommended place. Very good food, consistent price and really helpful waiters.
