On the recommendation of Mrs. Maddalena, whose B&B we were guests of, we went to dine at this restaurant located right in the old town of Aosta. We were very satisfied, so much so that we returned again, because it has a wide variety of both classic and regional dishes. From lasagna to risotto, from the very delicate Aosta Valley delights (a plate of cheeses, cured meats, Arnad lard, chestnuts), to pork fillet, pumpkin gnocchi, etc., even pizzas that we have not tried, all truly valid at an absolutely honest price. The staff was very kind. It is a pleasure to still find restaurateurs who know how to interpret their profession with professionalism and passion. Not to be missed.

four pizzas with friends... slow service although kind. pizzas are average, we lack the touch to be excellent. the outside tables are a bit narrow, the waitress passes by millimeter and the chairs are rather wedged especially for large sizes like mine. all good... could still be better

I had lunch with my boyfriend during a mini vacation in Aosta, I have to say everything was very good, excellent food, fast service and a very nice location, plus a very central location to be able to take a walk immediately after having lunch or dinner, I definitely recommend it, even the waiters were very kind and attentive, which is no small thing considering that the restaurant was full and I understand the panic it could generate, everything was perfect!

Local located in the center of Aosta. Pleasant environment with adequate spaces between tables. Traditional Aosta Valley cuisine with tasty and sufficiently abundant dishes. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

Hostaria del Calvino is a restaurant that made us eat great, delicious food, from the typical Aosta Valley appetizers to the pasta with porcini mushrooms that seem to have just been picked by the scent they gave off, and the grilled meat had a special flavor 😋😍I highly recommend it to all those who want to eat well😉🔝

We spent 3 days in Aosta and we went to this restaurant 3 times. Favorite for the Porcini mushroom pizza! Very good value for money, the staff is very nice. We recommend without hesitation!

Sembra un locale d'altri tempi, dove trovi ancora un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, cosa ormai rara.
Eravamo in 8 e abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti, tutti ottimi, dagli antipasti al dolce. Abbiamo gradito particolarmente il risotto con toma, i cavatelli, i paccheri al sugo della nonna e il filetto di maiale. Soluzione interessante il menù fisso valdostano.
Personale gentile e anche il locale molto accogliente e comodo, trovandosi al centro di Aosta a pochi passi dal mercatino di Natale.
Un punto di riferimento per quando torneremo, complimenti!
